(Clearwisdom.net) 1. [Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province] Zhang Jianbo Force-Fed in the Qingchun
Hospital During the afternoon of March 29, 2004, officers from the National Security
Team in the Shaoxing City Police Department arrested practitioner Mr. Zhang
Jianbo when he was distributing Dafa truth-clarifying CDs in Shaoxing City,
Zhejiang Province. Zhang Jianbo resisted the persecution with a hunger strike,
which has been going on for about a month. Zhang Jianbo is currently being held
in Hangzhou City's Qingchun Hospital and is being force-fed. Police are not
allowing his family members to visit him. The Qingchun Hospital is actually Zhejiang Province's General Prison
Hospital. All the prisoner patients have to stand at attention when they see the
staff, even if they are injured. In September 2003, practitioner Chen Yinghua
was force-fed in this hospital. Some doctors and nurses actually cooperated with
police to torture practitioners. 2. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Torture in Handan City's Labor Camp Made
Dafa Practitioner Li Haishan Lose his Ability to Speak Practitioner Mr. Li Haishan from Hebei Province, over 20 years old, was
arrested from a truth-clarifying material production site along with
practitioner Mr. Lu Zhaofeng, who has since been tortured to death. His
whereabouts were unclear after he had gone on a hunger strike for seven days in
Daming County's Detention Center in Hebei Province. At present, it is known that
Li Haishan is being held in Handan City's Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province.
He was tortured so severely that he lost his ability to speak, but is still
determined to cultivate in Dafa. More than 20 practitioners are being held in the labor camp, where they are

Liaozhong area. 4. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Arrested Around April 12, 2004, members of the Changchun City Police Department
arrested practitioners Jiang Yong, Zhang Guibiao and Lu Xin and five other
practitioners whose names are unknown. Three truth clarification materials
production sites were destroyed. 5. [Shaanxi Province] Practitioner He Guilian Held in Chenggu County's
Detention Center On March 3, 2004, someone reported practitioner Ms. He Guilian from Shaanxi
Province when she put up Dafa truth clarification messages. Officers from Liulin
Township's Police Precinct in Chenggu County, Shaanxi Province put her into
Chenggu County's Detention Center, where she is till now. Detailed information

Detained in Zibo City's Brainwashing Center On around April 24, 2004, Dafa practitioner Hai Delan from Ningyang County,
Tai'an City, Shandong Province, who is in her sixties, was arrested for talking
to people about Falun Gong. She is currently being held in Zibo City's
brainwashing center in Shandong Province. 7. [Xinxiang City, Henan Province] Dafa Practitioner Yang Mingzheng Held in
Xinxiang City's Detention Center On April 24, 2004, practitioner Yang Mingzheng from Xinxiang City, Henan
Province was arrested by persons from Xinxiang City's Police Department. Prior
to the arrest, policeman Wang Shulin from the Mengying Police Precinct in charge
of Yang's residential area led six people to break the law. The people included
policeman Yang Lizhi from Xinxiang City's Police Department. They ransacked Yang
Mingzheng's home and confiscated Dafa books. Yang Mingzheng is currently being

and Tortured In early December 2003, Mayor Yang Xin ordered raids of practitioners' homes
in Qiqihar. Those involved included members of the "610 Office" (1), the Longsha
District's Wulong Police Precinct and the Anshun Road Police Precinct. On December 9, 2003, practitioner Zhang Dexiang was arrested when
distributing Dafa truth-clarifying materials and was tortured by the police to
extract a confession. This resulted in the destruction of a truth-clarifying
material site. This site was located in residential buildings of the Northern
Railway Administration Bureau. More than twenty practitioners were arrested.
According to reliable sources, Qiqihar City Police Department has issued arrest
warrants for ten practitioners on April 8, 2004. The practitioners included Ms.
Hua Xiaojuan, Ms. Niu Fengqin, Ms. Lang Lijie, Ms. Wang Shujuan, Ms. Zhang
Dexiang, Ms. Shi Xiuying, Ms. Zhang Yuqin, Ms. Zhong Yajun, Ms. Zhang Shujing
and Ms. Sun Shulan. Many practitioners were tortured. Police subjected Ms. Hua Xiaojuan, 34 years old, to being handcuffed and hung
up in Longsha District's Anshun Road Police Precinct, and they also burned her
fingernails with cigarettes. Ms. Qi Yuzhen: 69 years old, was beaten to the point of rolling on the ground
in pain. Ms. Wang Shujuan, 57 years old, was handcuffed and hung up, and the handcuffs
cut into her flesh, severely injuring her wrists. Ms. Zhang Xiuying: 64 years old, was twice handcuffed and hung up. Ms. Zhang Dexiang: 37 years old, was handcuffed and hung up. The perpetrators
were officers from the Wulong Police Precinct. Additionally, three practitioners who had been arrested in 2002 have been
sentenced and are currently being held in Qiqihar City's First Detention Center.
They are Ms. Jiang Yuan, sentenced to three years; Ms. Dong Qiuyan, two years;
and Ms. Li Hongmin, three years. Lang Xili, the father of practitioner Lang Lijie, doesn't practice Falun
Gong, but because he helped practitioners to fold some truth-clarifying
materials, he was also put into a detention center on December 8, 2003. He was
held there for four months. Afterwards, he was sentenced to one year of forced
labor. He was later released for health reasons. 9. [Taoyuan County, Hunan Province] Three Dafa Practitioners Illegally
Sentenced in 2001 Practitioners Wen Lijun, Liu Jinhua, and Chen Tao from Taoyuan County in
Hunan Province were illegally sentenced in 2001. 10. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Practitioners Lou Yibing and Li Jiangming
Detained in a Brainwashing Center Dafa practitioners Lou Yibing and Li Jiangming from Huji Town's Xianglin Mine
in Jingmen City, Hubei Province were arrested and sent to a brainwashing center
for a month. The authorities threatened that they might be sentenced to forced
labor. Lou Yibing and Li Jiangming were laid off from their jobs. Last year Lou got
a job offer from the Zhong'e Company, but the company later refused to accept
Lou when they found out Lou practices Falun Gong. After they discovered that Li
Jiangming also practices, they fired Li after he had been working at the company
for four months. Zhang Xiayan, the company's executive director, is still

to Sign the Guarantee to Give up Falun Gong Zhang Wenyuan is an excellent teacher at the Police Training Center for the
Lingyuan City Prison Administration Sub-bureau in Liaoning Province. Because he
refused to sign the guarantee to give up his belief in Falun Gong, he was
arrested and sent to a brainwashing class and detention center. The policemen
threatened, "If you still cannot be reformed, we'll send you to a forced labor

Tortured Dafa practitioner Zhang Fengxiang from Chaoyangwan of Weichang County, Hebei
Province was put into a forced labor camp for over one year for going to Beijing
to appeal for Falun Dafa. After his release, he was again sent to a brainwashing
class to be "reformed." Since they had heard that Dafa practitioners do not
smoke or drink, the personnel in that brainwashing facility forced Zhang
Fengxiang to smoke and drink alcohol. They inserted two cigarettes into his nose
and then poured alcohol and spiced water into his mouth. 13. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] "610 Office" Personnel Send Dafa
Practitioner Zhong Xi to Brainwashing Class after Being Detained Over Term Limit
On February 4, 2002, Dafa practitioner Zhong Xi from the Jingyue District,
Changchun City was sentenced to two years of forced labor and detained at the
Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp. On April 14, 2004 he was directly sent to a
brainwashing class in spite of the fact that he had already been held 70 days
longer than his term had called for, a violation of the Chinese constitution.
The perpetrators were people from the Jingyue District's "610 Office" in
Changchun City. (1) The 610 Office is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong,
with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other
political or judicial systems.
