By a Falun Gong practitioner in Taiwan
(Clearwisdom.net) To celebrate World Falun Dafa Day, Falun Gong practitioners
in the Falun Gong Association of Taiwan's Nanrong Technology Institute obtained
a permit from the Institute to host a Falun Gong photo exhibit and Falun Gong
exercise demonstration to celebrate Teacher's birthday and the 12th
anniversary of Falun Dafa's introduction.
The Falun Dafa Photo Exhibit was held for three days from May 12 through 14th,
2004 at the entrance of the teaching building. It is where the students enter
and go out of the building most. For three days, the exhibit has attracted many
students and faculty members, and the exercise demonstration has also attracted
a group of students to come to learn Falun Gong. After the faculty and the
students learned the truth, they all said the persecution in China was
irrational. In order to let the night school students know the truth, the exhibit on the
13th was especially extended to 8PM. The students who attend school
after work had a higher acceptance. After accepting the truth-clarification
materials, some pressed their hands together and said, "Thank you! Your
benevolence is boundless." Some said they had heard Falun Gong was very good a
long time ago. Some asked where they could learn to practice. When the exhibit
was over that evening, a monitor who was not a Falun Gong practitioner led more
than ten classmates to help move the photos, easels, desks and chairs to the
storage room on the fifth floor, and promised they would come help again the
next day. Practitioners were very moved. With more and more people understanding
the truth, even non-practitioners want to do something good for Dafa. Practitioners participated in the event said that, in today's Taiwan, every
County and City government approves Falun Gong seminars for schoolteachers. And
every university and college, one after another, has approved the establishment
of a Falun Gong Association on campus. Falun Gong practitioners can freely
introduce Falun Dafa and clarify the truth to people on the campus, and let more
people know about and understand Dafa and benefit from it. In China however,
Jiang's regime is slandering Falun Gong, which teaches "Truthfulness, Compassion
and Forbearance," in every level of schools, instilling rumors into the youths,
instigating hatred against Falun Gong, poisoning young people's mental and
physical health, and persecuting faculty members and students who persist in the
practice of Falun Gong. It really hurts to see this happening. As part of this world-wide celebration of World Falun Dafa Day, practitioners
in Taiwan hosted the photo exhibit and exercise demonstration to help more
people know the truth about Falun Gong, to help stop the persecution in China,
let practitioners in China regain their peaceful cultivation environment, and
allow them to have the opportunity to join this celebration freely in the near
future.
