On April 8, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Qu Xiaofei was ambushed and arrested by undercover police from Laozhan Police Station in Tonghua, Jilin Province. He was sent to the Security Team, where he was beaten until bruises covered his body. Even after he had endured the severe pain of torture, he still was forced to whittle toothpicks for 14 or 15 hours per day, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. If he could not finish the work during the allotted hours, he was forced to work overtime.

On April 27, 2004 Chengdu City Qingyang District Court illegally and secretly sentenced Dafa practitioners Luo Yingjie, Gao Yonghui, and Zhu Xuezhi. Ms. Luo Yingjie, 73, lived in Jiuliti Jiaoshiyuan in Chengdu City. She was arrested on June 3, 2003, and illegally detained in Bi County Detention Center for almost one year. It was reported that her blood pressure has skyrocketed due to the torture. Ms. Gao Yonghui, 50, was arrested on June 3, 2003. Mr. Zhu Xuezhi, about 60, is a retired engineer from the Water Conservancy Design Institute in Chengdu City.

On November 4, 2002 Falun Dafa practitioner Liu Yongguo was arrested at his home by the Shihe County police in Jinzhou District, Dalian City. He was then illegally sentenced to three years at the Dalian Forced Labor Camp. During the time he was held in the forced labor camp, the torture triggered a return of his diseases, including vasculitis. As a result, he is now unable to walk or take care of himself.

On April 28, Falun Dafa practitioner Yan Min from Xinjin County, Chengdu City, was arrested on the street by officials from the Xinjin County Culture and Education Bureau and the local Xinjin County police. His family was then informed that he was sent to a brainwashing center. His whereabouts have been unknown since then.

Mr. Yan Min was formerly a teacher at the Xinjin Teachers College. In December 2000, he was fired from his job because he insisted on practicing Falun Dafa. He was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor by Xinjin County's Police Department. During the two years of the illegal detention in Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp, he suffered many kinds of torture. In February 2003 he went on a hunger strike to protest, and was able to leave the forced labor camp using righteous thoughts.

At 6:00 a.m. on May 1, 2004, Dafa practitioner Qi Mingli and her daughter Guo Yi were arrested from their home in Anju small district, Jinzhou by police and special agents. Additionally, an Internet access point and materials site was destroyed. Equipment worth more than 20,000 Yuan (1) was confiscated.

On April 2, Dafa practitioner Jin Jiting from Dajintun, Shixin Township, Panshan County, Panjin City, Liaoning Province was arrested in Beining City. One material production site was destroyed. During the arrest, Jin Jiting was brutally beaten and tortured by the police, who were led by Cui Zhangang from the Guangning County Police Department in Beining City. According to witnesses, Jin Jiting's hands were tied up with ropes, and his face was bruised. Three other Dafa practitioners were also arrested, including Wang Ruiqi, Meng X (who is now being held in Dalian), and Ms. Qi Fengjie (who is now being held in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp). Currently Jin Jiting and Wang Ruiqi are both being illegally held in the Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp.

Ms. An Xiufang lived in Ban Village, Huanglou County, Qingzhou City. On February 15, 2002 she was arrested and sent to the Huanglou County Office. After being illegally held for one month in Qingzhou, she was sentenced to three years of forced labor in Wang Village. She is still being detained.

Ms. Yan Siurong, 53, lived in Xiapo Village in Huanglou County. On Febrary 16, 2002 she was arrested by the county government and Qingzhou City "610 Office"(2) officials. She was then sentenced to 3 years at the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp. She is still being illegally detained.

Mr. Zhang Shouxiang, lived in Caojia Village, Huanglou County. He is being held in the Jinan Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Li Youxin, 28, lived in Liupo Village, Huanglou County. In the summer of 2001, he was reported to police while he delivered truth-clarifying material at Lufang Village, Huanglou County, and was sentenced to 2 years at the Changle Forced Labor Camp. He has since been released.

Ms. Gong Haiyan, 23, lived in Chijia Village, Huanglou County. In the summer of 2001, she was reported to police at Lufang Village, Huanglou County, and was sentenced to 2 years at the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp. She has since been released.

Mr. Chen Xueqian lived in Mojia Village, Huanglou County. He was illegally detained in a forced labor camp for one year, and released.

One night during May 2001, Huanglou County government officials led by the former Huanglou Secretary Li Xinan and Huanglou County Polictical and Judicial Secretary Zhang Zhongxiang ransacked Falun Gong practitioners' homes. They arrested Mr. Wang Yuguang and his wife, and sent them to the police station. The couple, both of whom were almost 70 years old, was sent to the detention center.

In August 2001, Falun Gong practitioners Gong Haiyan and Mr. Li Youxin were reported while they stayed at Wang Yongjun's home. They were arrested and sent to the Changle and Wang Village forced labor camps respectively. Now both of them have been released. Police illegally ransacked Mr. Li Youxin's home and detained his father. Wang Youjun was fined 2,000 Yuan, and was harassed many times.

After the spring festival of 2002, Dafa practitioners An Xiufang and Yan Xiurong were arrested from their home and were sent to the Wang Village Forced Labor Camp.

In August 2003, Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Aimei was deceived into going to a brainwashing class for persecution. She was fined 2,000 Yuan.

On February 20, 2004, police from Canghou Police Station in Pengjiang District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province arrested Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Aiqun after breaking into her home. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.

On January 13, 2004, while Dafa practitioners Hong Cailan and Zhao Haiqin, in Yuanshan Township, Lianping County, Heyuan, Guangdong Province, were spreading the facts about the persecution of Falun Dafa, and distributing truth-clarifying literature to villagers in the Nahu Management District, they were illegally arrested by local police. They were illegally held for over 50 days. The local police then sent them to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp for two years. Their families were not even informed before they were sent to the forced labor camp.

In the middle of December 2003, Dafa practitioners Wu Yueming and Zhen Guoqing were arrested in Genhe City, Inner Mogolia Municipality. On April 5, they were sent to another area for forced labor.

On April 14, 2004, while Dafa practitioners Qi Shurong and Xie Dewen were distributing truth-clarifying literature in Dalian, they were arrested by police from the Quanyong Police Station (former Xishan Police Station).
