Tortured in Mudanjiang Prison Wu Yueqing, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Shuangya City, was arrested while
preparing Falun Dafa literature in December 2001. He was illegally sentenced to
twelve years in prison in January 2002. Currently he is being detained at Branch
23 of Ward 11 in Mudanjiang Prison. During the past two years of detention, he
has been tortured both physically and spiritually. He is hospitalized and

Two Months of Hunger Strike in Kaiping Forced Labor Camp Practitioner Yang Jianpo was abducted by Guangyang District Public Security
Branch in Langfang City on February 20, 2004. He was unlawfully taken to Team
No.1 of Kaiping Forced Labor Camp in Tangshan City, where he went on a hunger

Local Prison On the morning of February 25, 2004, twenty Falun Dafa practitioners were
having a small Fa-conference at practitioner Jia Yanjie's home. After 10:00
a.m., policemen from the Security Team of local Public Security Bureau broke in
and arrested the practitioners. The practitioners were then put in jail and
tortured. Sun Xiaojuan was beaten and verbally abused by Li Wensheng, head of the
Security Team, and Yue Quanfa, political instructor of the Security Team. The following eight practitioners are known to be detained: Sun Xiaojuan,
Shan Shumei, Wang Yuzhen, He Shunrong, Chen Ping, Jia Yanjie, Yu Hao and Liu

(Cell) [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Police Detain and Extort Money from Several
Practitioners On March 27, Ms. Wang Shan, Ms. Su Shufang, a retired worker from Jiujiang
Cotton Spinning Plant No.2, Ms. Li Guirong, Ms. Hu Yanhua and Ms. Yang Guihua, a
retired worker from 5727 Plant, were abducted by policemen Luo Siyin, Tian
Ruhong and Chen Xin without justification. The police also searched the homes of
Wang Shan and Li Guirong. Employees of the "610 Offices" in Jiujiang
City and Lushan District extorted 10,000 yuan from Su Shufang's family members
and 5,000 yuan from Yang Guihua's family. Wang Shan and Li Guirong were approved
for arrest on April 30. [Hui County, Henan Province] Wu Chaogang Detained in Hui County Detention
Center Wu Chaogang, a 25-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Hui County, was
reported by Du Huaixi for removing slogans slandering Falun Dafa at
Dongxinzhuang and Huayuan Village. He is currently detained in the Hui County
Detention Center. At around 4:00 pm on May 11, 2004, the People's Court in Hui
County held a hearing. Before the hearing, the Court told Wu Chaogang's family
members to represent him as his defense. After the hearing started, however, the
Court refused to allow Wu's family members to defend him and ended the hearing
quickly. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners Illegally
Sentenced Three to Seven Years in Prison Sun Jianzhong, Zhang Yunping, Zhang Jinlu, Han Xueyu, An Zhenjie and Langfang
practitioner Ms. Guo Xiaohui were sentenced to prison by Tangshanlu North
District Court with terms ranging from three to seven years for preparing Falun
Dafa truth-clarifying literature. Tangshan Middle Court rejected the appeal.
These Falun Dafa practitioners are currently being detained in Nanbao Prison in
Tangshan City, where they have been kept in confinement and persecuted. Sun

Deng Shuiyi Detained in Brainwashing Class Falun Dafa practitioners He Yanwei and Deng Shuiyu were abducted while
distributing truth-clarifying materials and explaining the truth of Falun Dafa
on March 3. The Xiadong Police Substation is responsible for their arrest. The
two practitioners have been taken to the so-called "Legal Class" in

No.1 Detention Center Ms. Lin Lizhen and Ms. Yang Lan, two practitioners from Dianbai and Bohe,
were reported and arrested while explaining the truth of Falun Dafa at Yangmei
Village of Longxia Town. They were forcibly taken to Dianbai No.1 Detention
Center. The two practitioners have now been on hunger strike for many days. On
May 2, Xiao Xiong, director of the local "610 Office" asked Lin
Lizhen's mother to persuade her to eat. Lin's mother said that her daughter was
very weak and could not speak. She could not walk out to meet her without
assistance. She also said that the Detention Center would force-feed her the
next day if she still did not eat. Director Xiao Xiong urged Yang Lan's family

Ransack His Home Liang Loutu, a practitioner from Maoming City, was arrested at around three
or four o'clock on May 10. Liang's home was searched and personal belongs were
confiscated. [Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province] Tan Shiqiu Tortured in Huazi Prison of
Dengta City Tan Shiqiu, a practitioner from Dongsheng Village, Kaiyuan City, Liaoning
Province, was arrested on September 15, 2001. Li Kuiguang, director of
Shangfeidi Township Police Substation, is responsible for the arrest. Tan is
presently detained in Huazi Prison of Dengta City. In March 2004, policemen from
Huazi Prison forcibly removed Tan's winter boots and replaced them with a pair
of regular shoes, in spite of the fact that Tan had not yet recovered from a
fracture in his left leg. The policemen did not return his boots until Tan went
on hunger strike in protest for three days, when they said that he could wear

and continue to follow and arrest practitioners who become destitute and
homeless in order to avoid further persecution. Han Bo has participated in the
persecution of Falun Gong since 1999. At least seven practitioners have been
taken to detention center because of Li Kuiguang's actions. The two also post
banners defaming Falun Dafa and poisoning people's minds.
