It has been reported that Fushun Forced Labor Camp has transferred some practitioners to different teams in order to reduce practitioners' power as a whole body. Some practitioners are on hunger strike, protesting against the illegal detention and torture and asking for unconditional release. As of May 16, as far as we know, Li Hengliang has been on hunger strike for 10 days and Li Guangwen has been on hunger strike for four days. Li Guangwen is suffering from violent forced-feedings. Details need to be further investigated. We hope that those who know the facts will provide us with more information.

Currently, Zhang Anping has been illegally sentenced to two years in prison while Mo Chengyuan is being detained in Lingquanshi Detention Center.

Ms. Yang Xiaodong, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Beijing, was abducted by over a dozen policemen on the morning of April 24. The police searched her home and her parents' home as well. Another practitioner named Qu Baoliang who lives at Balizhuang of Chaoyang District was arrested almost at the same time.

Practitioner Cheng Peixin, an employee of Drilling Company No.2 of Liaohe Oil Field, and Mou Xiaowei, an employee of Company No.2 of Huanxiling Engineering Technology Department, were forcibly taken from work to Luotaishan Brainwashing Center in Fushun City. The Security Section of Company No.2 and Huancai Security Section are involved.

On the evening of April 24, 2004, policemen from the "610 Office" of Zhenping County went to Falun Dafa practitioners' homes, checking whether these practitioners were at home, even though some practitioners were already sleeping.

Ms. Wang Zongfan, a practitioner in her seventies from Nanyang City, was abducted about two weeks ago and is being held in a detention center.

Tang Jun, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Wangou Town of Jiangyuan County, was arrested while reading a Dafa book at home on May 13, 2004. Yu Yongsheng, director of the Politics & Security Section, and Wang Weidong, a policeman from the same Section, were responsible for the arrest.

Chen Yujiang was arrested in early April while writing a truth-clarifying sign. Sun Li was arrested in early April while delivering truth-clarifying materials. Currently their whereabouts are unknown.

Chen Shuzhen, a driver from the Zhonghe Transportation Team of Xianhe District Community, lost his/her handbag in the bike parking lot. An unnamed ill-intentioned person found the handbag, with Chen's driver's license, cellular phone and a Falun Dafa book in it. In an attempt to get a reward, this person gave the handbag to Dong Li, Party Secretary of the Business Administrative Center of the Community. Wang Rong, director of the Community had a talk with Chen Shuzhen, asking him/her to write the so-called "three statements of guarantee"(1) Chen Shuzhen insisted on his/her belief and did not yield. Consequently, Chen Shuzhen was groundlessly fired from his/her job. However, Chen Shuzhen had to check in every day at his/her work unit, and given only 300 Yuan (2) for living expenses a month. One month later, Su Zhaoxiang, Party Secretary of the Community sent her/him to Dongying where he/she was detained at Jishu Brainwashing Center.

During the May 1 holiday season, Xu Guoping from Xiameng City went to see a senior practitioner who is being detained in forced labor camp. Xu phoned the practitioner's daughter in the U.S. later, asking her to appeal to people outside China for the rescue of her mother. However, the National Security Bureau monitored the phone call and Xu Guoping was illegally arrested on May 3.

Ms. Li Yulan, a practitioner from Nanyang City, was unjustly arrested at home on the evening of May 12, 2004.

Zhao En and his wife Yang Jinxia from Gaoqiao Economic Development District of Huludao City had both been sentenced to forced labor because they refuse to renounce their belief in Falun Dafa. After their release, the local police continued to harass them. Since 2003, they had to leave their home and have become destitute and homeless in order to avoid further harassment and persecution. On the morning of May 13, 2004, Zhao En, who raises animals for others as a living in Xingshan District, was abducted. After he was taken to Gaoqiao Police Substation, he did not cooperate with the police and shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is great..." In the afternoon on that day, Zhao En was unlawfully sent to Huludao Detention Center.
