Austria: Dafa Practitioners Commemorate the "4.25" Peaceful Appeal (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On April 24, 2004, Austrian Dafa practitioners held activities in Steven Square, a famous tourist attraction in the center of Vienna City. The activity was to commemorate the 5th anniversary of the"4.25" peaceful appeal and to demonstrate the beauty of Falun Dafa, as well as expose the facts of the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the past five years or so.

Dafa practitioners displayed banners reading "Commemorate '4.25' Peaceful Appeal," "Global Public Trial of Jiang Zemin," "Bringing Jiang Zemin to Justice," and a huge banner, with SOS as a backdrop, reading "Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners Being Persecuted in China" in German. They also prepared flyers in various languages and distributed them to the tourists from around the world. Many people asked Dafa practitioners for information on how to learn the exercises. After learning the facts from Dafa practitioners, those who were deceived by the lies fabricated by China's media began to learn about what Falun Gong really is and the persecution.

All the Chinese tourists passing by looked at the banners and display boards. Some of them also accepted flyers from practitioners. After looking at the display boards, a Westerner approached a Chinese practitioner and asked very excitedly, "What should we do to help those Chinese under persecution?" An elderly couple told the practitioners: "Such peaceful exercises would by no means pose any threat to the Chinese government. What you are doing is nothing more than meditation. In my view, it's simply a problem with Jiang Zemin's mental situation." Some tourists from Italy, after realizing the facts, said to us, "We support you. You've done a good job. Take care!"
