(Clearwidsom.net) A policeman at Kuiwen District Police Department who had no medical training, force-fed Dafa practitioner Li Xingjian [gender unknown, assumed to be a male practitioner] while he was detained. The police officer inserted a tube through Li's nose into his stomach and then pulled it out. He repeated this eleven times and still was not satisfied. Every time he pulled out the tube, it looked like a chopstick covered with blood.

Changle Labor Camp police tried to force Dafa practitioners to swear at Falun Dafa and Master. Any practitioners who refused to disrespect their spiritual belief and their teacher had their lower body beaten brutally with belts. They also tied practitioner Tao Hexing and put him into a tub of ice-cold water during the wintertime.

When practitioners were arrested after going to appeal for Falun Gong in Beijing, Weifang City police officers in the Beijing office confiscated all money they found on practitioners and tortured them using various methods. One brutal policeman ordered Chang Ba, a female practitioner, to stand on one leg and stretch the other leg backwards and up, and two arms backwards and up. She had to hold this position for two hours and her face was whipped with cloth strips whenever she moved. Another policeman handcuffed both of Dafa practitioner Li Xingjian's hands behind his back and kicked him repeatedly, grinding his boot on Li Xingjian's face.

During practitioner Li Xingjian's hunger strike at the Wangcun Labor Camp, criminal detainees, ordered by police, brutally tortured him. Li Xingjian was forced to sit on a small stool with two legs bent at 90 degrees and to put his hands on his legs. He was kicked whenever he moved and had to hold this position for six hours. Finally, the flesh on his buttocks broke open and was bleeding.

The police officers also handcuffed Li Xingjian, hands behind his back, and hung him by the handcuffs to the end of the upper bunk bed's headboard so that one foot was barely touching the ground and the other foot was pulled off the ground and tied with a rope to the upper headboard of the opposite bunk bed. The result was that Li Xingjian was strung up in the air between two bunk beds and tied in an excruciatingly painful manner.

Sometimes, he was tied with one hand on the upper headboard and the other hand on the lower headboard, so he half stood and half squatted on his heels. He had to hold this position from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm and then from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am the next morning.

The most brutal torture was not being allowed to sleep for over three weeks at a time. Criminal detainees had handcuffed Li Xingjian's hands on a shoulder pole [a Chinese type of carrying method that is used to carry things across one's shoulders, usually made from bamboo]. Two common criminals, following police orders, took turns watching Li Xingjian to prevent him from sleeping. Holding the shoulder pole in their hands, they would slam the pole into his chin or forehead. As a result of this extended torture and sleep deprivation for over 20 days, Li Xingjian's legs swelled up and he developed wounds on his wrists that were infected with blood and pus seeping out. The police did not give up. They later stripped off his clothes and beat him with a dozen electric batons in a torture room for a total of eight hours. From what detained practitioners said, the police electrically tortured Dafa practitioners in this room on a daily basis.
