Mr. Pan Jianjun Tortured to Death, Many From Yuanling County, Hunan Province Sentenced to Prison or Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) Since July 1999, Jiang and his political gang of scoundrels have brutally persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. Countless practitioners and their families have suffered great hardships. Below are several cases from Yuanling County in Hunan Province.

1. Pan Jianjun was Tortured to Death

Mr. Pan Jianjun was 33 years old and is a Falun Dafa practitioner from Fangziya Village, Madiping Township, Yuanling County, Hunan Province. He was detained at the end of 2000 when he went to Beijing to validate the Fa.

At the end of 2001, he was arrested when passing out truth clarifying materials at his friend's house. After being sentenced to 3 years in a labor camp, he was sent to the Xinkaipu Labor Camp in Changsha City, Hunan Province. Because he was betrayed by collaborators, his term was increased to 4 years, and was transferred to Huaihua City No.2 Detention Center. Someone saw him there in August 2003. He had looked like skin and bones, his lower back was injured and there were wounds on his body. After he went on a hunger strike for 20 days in October 2003, his term was extended to 7 years, He was sent to Jinshi Prison in Changde City, Hunan Province. At one point, he passed out, but woke up when the prison police were ready to send him to be cremated. He was assigned to the "Strictly Monitored Group" in the No.6 Ward.

He was transferred to an unknown labor camp at the end of 2003. On February 5, 2004, the Prison Administration notified his family that he had died.

2. Three Practitioners Were Sentenced to Prison

Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Xiong Yijian is 30 years old and an employee of Yuanling County Business Administration. He was sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp in October 1999 because he went to Beijing to appeal. He was arrested again in April, 2001 because he was passing out truth clarifying materials and clarifying the truth in the County "610 Office(1)." He was detained in the County Detention Center and sentenced 3 years in prison. He is now incarcerated in Changsha Prison.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Dai Liyun is 47 years old and a resident of Yuanling Town, Yuanling County, Hunan Province. She was arrested and her home ransacked by police in February 2001 because she produced truth clarifying materials. She has been sentenced to 5 years in the Changsha Women's Prison.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Xuan Hehua is 51 years old and a former employee of Yuanling County Farming Equipment Company (unemployed now). She was arrested in November 1999 because she went to Beijing to appeal, and was detained 1 month. She was abducted by police on a bus in July 2000 and detained 15 days. She was arrested at her home in 2001 because she told others that Falun Dafa is good. This time she was sentenced to 4 years prison at the Changsha women's Prison. The Prison does not let her family visit or communicate with her in any form.

3. Five Practitioners Were Sentenced to Labor Camps

Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Liu Jianguo is a former employee of Yuanling County Textile Factory. He was sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp in May 2001, because he produced truth clarifying materials.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Mr. Zhang Yonghe is a teacher in Zhangjiatan Middle School, Yuanling County. He was sentenced to 1 year in a labor camp on July 22, 2000, because he practiced Falun Gong.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Tang Shilan is a resident of Yuanling Town, Yuanling County. She was arrested in February 2001 because she was producing Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials. She was sentenced 1 year in a labor camp in May 2001.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Xuan Xiumei is an employee of Yuanling County Meat and Fish Company. She was sentenced 18 months in a labor camp in June 2000 because she was clarifying the truth to people. She suffered much torture in the Baimalong Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province.

Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Yang Zhifang is an employee of Yuanling County Water Conservation Bureau. She was sentenced 1 year in a labor camp in May 2001 because she was producing Falun Dafa truth clarifying materials.
