Three Stories of a Dafa Practitioner Validating the Fa

Dazhi (pseudonym), from Jilin Province, had liver cancer before he began practicing Falun Dafa. The first day after he started listening to Teacher's lectures, his condition began to improve. Several days later, he was fully recovered. From that day on, Dazhi diligently practiced Dafa.

Dazhi makes living driving a pedi-cab. He uses every opportunity to clarify the truth to people. One day, while he was studying the Fa [universal law and principle], several policemen from the "610 Office" (1) suddenly broke in to his home and shouted, "What are you doing?" Dazhi peacefully said, "I'm reading and assimilating Dafa. You guys wait for a while." After he finished reading, Dazhi then put the book aside and started clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa to the policemen.

He described his own great physical changes, the current spread of Dafa worldwide, and the beautiful life Dafa brings to people. An hour later, the policemen who had learned the truth of Dafa got up and said goodbye to him, "Dafa is good. You should stay home and practice it well."

In recent times, more and more people in China have become jobless and have a hard time making a living. However, Dazhi has never had any trouble working with people who are in the same occupation as he. One day, an elderly man bought a large bag of rice. When other pedi-cab drivers saw this, they all came forward and tried to pull the elderly person to their pedi-cabs. Facing the scene, the elderly man had no idea what to do. Then, Dazhi came over and carried the bag of rice to his pedi-cad and said to the elderly man, "Why don't you come with me. I'll take you home." The man looked at him and sat in his pedi-cab without saying a word.

Dazhi then took the elderly man to the building where he lived and asked, "Which floor do you live on?" The man said, "The fifth floor." Dazhi then shouldered the bag of rice and started walking upstairs. The man followed him closely. After carrying the bag to the elderly man's home, Dazhi was dripping with sweat from the work. After he put the bag down, the elderly man said to him in a cold manner, "The only reason you work so hard is for the money. Just tell me how much you want." Dazhi said with a smile, "I don't want anything. All I want to do is tell you that the world needs Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Falun Dafa is good." The elderly man was shocked. Before he realized it, Dazhi had already gone downstairs.

Dazhi did not get too far from the building when the man pushed the window open and shouted loudly, "Falun Dafa is good!" The passersby all stopped and watched.

One day, Dazhi met two people who needed to go to a destination that was pretty far away. However, they had only two Yuan (2) left. Nobody was willing to take them. Dazhi came to them and said, "It's OK if you don't have the money. I'll take you." On the way, Dazhi told them that he was a Falun Dafa practitioner and started clarifying the truth to them. He started from the Tiananmen self-immolation incident, and also told them of the spread of Dafa worldwide. He told them that all Dafa practitioners are good people, and that they must remember that Falun Dafa is good. After learning the truth, the two passengers were touched and shouted right away, "Falun Dafa is good!"

On the way back, Dazhi thought that since even non-practitioners shouted, "Falun Dafa is good," as a practitioner, he should validate Dafa with dignity at all times. So while he was transporting passengers, he shouted, "Falun Dafa is good" along the streets. The passengers joined him as well.

Dazhi is still happily driving his pedi-cab, clarifying the truth of Dafa, and not giving up on anyone with a predestinated relationship.

(1) "610 Office": a bureau specifically created by the Chinese government to persecute Falun Gong. It has absolute power over each level of administration in the Party, as well as over the political and judiciary branches.

(2) Yuan: Chinese currency, the monthly salary for an average Chinese urban worker is about 500 Yuan.
