Account of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners Employed at Guangxi Autonomous Region's Youjiang Medical College

(Clearwisom.net) Ms.Yang Ruizhen was a teacher in the kindergarten affiliated with the Youjiang Medical College (YMC). Because she would not give up her belief in Falun Gong, she had been detained for several months and then sent to forced labor for two years. Her daughter Ms. Liang Xiaoping, also a Falun Gong practitioner, had been sent to forced labor for two years and her term has been extended; both are acts against China's Constitution.

Ms. Huang Caiying is a retired staff member from the YMC library. Because she practices Falun Gong, her home has been ransacked and she was sent to forced labor for one and a half years. Her daughter Ms. Li Can was arrested for accessing the Minghui/Clearwisdom website. The police officer yelled at her, " I can sentence you, even without evidence!" In the end, Ms. Li was sentenced to two years of forced labor.

Ms. Wei Peiqi is a retired professor. She has been detained in a drug rehabilitation center for 15 days.

Ms. Lan Airong was an inspector at the Basic Department of YMC and was sent to forced labor for three years. She has been suffering persecution in that prison. Her husband died of an illness during her detention and left a daughter in the first year of senior high school at home unattended.

Ms. Wang Zhen was a staff person in the library. Her home has been ransacked and she was sent to two years of forced labor. After she was released from the labor camp, YMC took away her previous job. They re-assigned her to the position of janitor in the Health Section and only pay her a minimum salary.

Li Xiurong was a nurse in the Health Section. Her home had been ransacked. She has been interrogated, extorted and then penalized with salary cutbacks by YMC for one year.

Qiu Ni was a library employee. Her home has been ransacked. She has been interrogated many times and then penalized with salary cutbacks by YMC for one year.

There are also other practitioners who have mentally suffered to various degrees. They have been deprived from practicing their belief and their human rights have been violated. We hope that all people of conscience will voice their concern about it!
