Falun Gong Practitioners Tortured Mercilessly in the Shanxi Female Forced Labor Camp

(Clearwisdom.net) The authorities at the Shanxi Xindian Female Forced Labor Camp are severely torturing Falun Dafa practitioners in an attempt to make them renounce their beliefs.

Qi Kaishu, 50, from Huairen County, Shanxi Province, witnessed a practitioner being tortured in her cell to the point that she suffered a mental collapse.

Upon arriving at the labor camp, each practitioner is immediately monitored by two prisoners. They are not allowed to speak to other practitioners. Those who do not give up their faith and do not write the "Four Statements" (1) renouncing Falun Gong are not allowed to rest until past midnight. Even elderly practitioners are both mentally and physically tortured the entire day. They aren't allowed to rest, and are being treated inhumanely. Qi Kaishu was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment after camp personnel severely tortured her, causing her blood pressure to increase to the point that she may have suffered a stroke. Due to the strict information blockade, the status of Qi Kiashu is still unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Guo Yunzhi from Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province is steadfast in practicing Dafa. Police officers Liu Zhongmei, Lei Hongmei, and others instigated the prisoners to forbid Guo Yunzhi from sleeping while they continuously beat her. Her feet have become swollen and she cannot put on her shoes.

Wang Junying, a practitioner from Datong City, Shanxi Province validated her own experience to the guards, telling them how Falun Dafa is good. She asked them to let her do the exercises in freedom. She was isolated in a separate cell and beaten by four prisoners. There are bruises all over her body. While encountering extreme difficulties, she survived with inspiration from Master's teachings on treasuring one's own life. She was tortured to such a degree that she could not walk. She was dragged by the police from the third to the second floor and injured to the point that she felt it was too painful to endure.

Ms. Rong Meiqin, 55, from Taiyuan City, is determined in her belief. She had been placed in confinement several times, from 2001 to the summer of 2003. The police instigated prisoners to monitor, curse, and beat her. Since Rong Meiqin persisted in doing the exercises, her hands and legs were tied to the bed. The old bruises on her body were covered by new bruises. Both of her eyes were beaten black and blue. She was tortured in this manner for over two years. Later, the police were afraid that Rong Meiqin would die in the prison, so they released her in 2003.

Ms. Shi Zhifang, who is over 60 years old, and from Datong City, Shanxi Province, was illegally put in prison for 8 months. She did not see the light of day during that time. She was both mentally and physically tortured for her determination in practicing Dafa and clarifying the truth.

Xin Enhao, from Datong City, was unyielding in validating Dafa. The police often put her in a dark cell in the prison for the entire day and tortured her.

(1) "Four Statements" - Practitioners are coerced under brainwashing and torture to write these as proof that they have given up their belief. Created by the "610 Office," these statements consist of a letter of repentance, a guarantee to never again practice Falun Gong, and a list of names and addresses of all family members, friends and acquaintances who are practitioners.
