Image of Falun Gong Parade in New York Appears as One of Time Magazine's "Pictures of the Week" (Photos)
(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday April 10, 2004, thousands of
Falun Gong practitioners held a grand parade in Manhattan's Chinatown. The
parade was composed of nine groups, each telling a different part of the Falun
Gong story. From Falun Gong's introduction to the public, its spread around the
world, to being persecuted in China. The atmosphere was very touching. The
parade was part of the 2004 Falun Gong Experience Sharing Conference held in New
York. Teacher Li Hongzhi came in person on April 11 to speak to the more than
4,000 assembled in the experience sharing conference hall.
