Dafa Practitioner Tortured for Delivering Truth-Clarifying Materials

I am a farmer who is a resident of Ningyuan Township, Bin County, Heilongjiang Province.

I used to be a tuberculosis patient, but after I started practicing Falun Gong in 1996, the symptoms were cured miraculously. At the same time, I improved the level of my morality by following Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, the guidelines of Falun Dafa.

Jiang Zemin started persecuting Falun Gong on July 20,1999. On August 15, 2000, a fellow practitioner and I were reported to officers while we were delivering materials that clarify the truth about the persecution. I was brought to the village office. There were also some bystanders present.

At the beginning, Dong Jun, the head of the local police station, and several police officers threatened me. They wanted me to tell them where I got the materials. I refused to tell them. Then they played all kinds of tricks before they began to torture me physically. They forced me to stand up with my upper body bending down and legs spread far apart, not allowing me to move.

Since I had just done farm work and was hungry, I could not endure it anymore after 30 minutes. My legs were trembling so they allowed me to take a break. Then they pretended to care for me but were actually still trying to get me to divulge the material source. I didn't say anything so they quickly became angry. Police officer Ma Fu slapped my face while pulling my collar and threatening me. I became dizzy by the beating and was bleeding at the corner of my mouth. They tortured me until 12 noon, and then sent me to the Bin County Detention Center.

The second morning, Dong Jun and another police officer came to the County Detention Center from Ningyuan Township. They brought me to a room. Dong slapped my face as soon as I entered the room. Since I did not tell them anything, he handcuffed me and then afflicted more pain by twisting and pulling the handcuff. My hands were in extreme pain as the handcuff cut into my flesh. The fingers on one of my hands became numb for a long time. Another police officer pinched my nipples forcefully with his hands. They tortured me until noon. I still did not tell them anything. I was detained there for four months.
