From February 16 to 18, 2004, practitioner Mr. Wang Dejin and Ms. Du Guiying (a married couple) and Song Yanbo were successively arrested. On May 20, Wang Dejin, Du Guiying and Song Yanbo were secretly sentenced without their family members present or the presence of defense lawyers. There were just two judges, one secretary and one inspector from the prosecution office to read the indictment.

In mid April 2004, policeman Sun Haishun, from the Niujiapai Police Station, arrested practitioner Zhang Hanping as he/she was pasting up signs that read, "Falun Dafa is Good," and distributing truth clarifying leaflets in Shu'erwo Village, Dakoutun Town, Baodi District. At present, Zhang Hanping is being held at the Baodi District Detention Center.

On May 26, 2004, police from Dakoutun Town, along with local scoundrels, arrested practitioner Yang Shuyun while s/he was distributing truth-clarifying leaflets in Dongfeng Village, Dakoutun Town, the Baodi District. At present, this practitioner is being held at the Baodi District's Detention Center.

At 10:00 p.m. on May 24, 2004, policeman Wei Dong led six policemen and arrested 55-year-old Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Ziju in the Chengguan District and ransacked her home. After the police extorted 2,000 Yuan [The average monthly salary of an urban worker in China is 500 Yuan], they still refused to release Yang Ziju. At present, Yang Ziju is being held at the Taoshuping Detention Center.

On May 24, 2004, practitioners Zang (over 60 years old) and Du Feng'e (over 60 years old) from the residential community of the Zhengzhou City Oil Chemical Factory were arrested from their home, in violation of the Chinese constitution. At present, they are being held in a detention center located at Heizhuang, Zhengzhou City.

On around May 15, 2004, policemen from the National Security Team of the Qujing City Police Department arrested practitioner Tai Fei, who is working in the Malongju Court, Qujing Area, Yunnan Province.

At noon on May 21, 2004, five to six officers from the Zhongtun Police Precinct, National Security Team and the Taihe Police Precinct of Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province drove two vans to the rented home of practitioner Ms.Yang Xiulan and broke in. Since Ms. Yang was not at home then, the police arrested Ms.Yang's husband, practitioner Mr. Liu Guangfu, and ransacked the house. They also confiscated Dafa books, electronic books, an MP3 player and other personal belongings.

At around 8:00 p.m. that night, the police again broke into Yang Xiulan's home. Ms. Yang's child was at home. The police started looting once they got into the house, but they didn't find anything. They called their supervisor and reported that they didn't find any copy machine. Ms. Yang's husband Liu Guangfu was sentenced to one year of forced labor. On May 26, he was sent to Jinzhou City's Forced Labor Camp for abuse and mistreatment under the persecution, in violation of the Chinese constitution.

At 4:00 p.m. on May 21, police broke into the home of practitioner Wu Suchun who runs a photo shop at Dongwangtun. They arrested Wu Suchun and forcibly searched the home. Wu is currently being held in Jinzhou's First Detention Center. Ms.Wu's husband is suffering from cerebral thrombus and was left at home without care.

In the morning of May 18, officers from the Dongyuan Police Precinct broke into Dafa practitioner Wang Xueying's home and arrested him/her. Wang's whereabouts are unknown.

Dafa practitioner Ms.Yang Guilan is an employee of the Jinzhou City Tianyuan Petroleum Chemical Company. On May 21, 2004, her house was searched and her husband was arrested. In order to avoid illegal arrest, Ms.Yang became homeless again.

On May 26, 2004 when Dafa practitioners in Hongxing Township, Yilan County, Heilongjiang Province held an experience sharing conference in Hongxing Township, they were reported. Lawless policemen arrested fourteen Dafa practitioners including Sun Peicheng, Tan Fenghua, Li Shoutian, Sun Yijun, Xu Baolin, Yan Haixu, Yan Fengwu and Zhang Qiuyan. Currently, they are detained at Yilan County's No.2 Detention Center, where they are suffering torture.

Ms. Cheng Qiaoyun is a laid-off employee of the Material Branch of the Jiulong Company, which is affiliated with Daqing City's Petroleum Administration Bureau's Shiye Group. After her two years' detention term was expired on May 27, 2004, when her family went to fetch her, the Harbin Female Prison authority colluded with her work unit officials and the Daqing City "610 Office" (1) to cheat her family, and they put Cheng Qiaoyun into the Hongweixing Brainwashing Program for further persecution.
