Instances of People Meeting Karmic Retribution After Persecuting Falun Dafa

These people started off as public servants, but under the intense pressure applied by Jiang Zemin's regime, they were pushed into persecuting Dafa disciples. In the process of destroying the lives of kind, law-abiding citizens, they have sealed their own fates and inevitably faced karmic retribution as punishment. If it weren't for Jiang's wicked orders, perhaps their fates would have been different.

Ms. Lan Junmei was a 48-year-old Chairwoman of the Party Committee of the Fire Brigade at Daqing Petroleum Chemistry Plant in Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province. In 2001, she gave speeches in Liaoning, Jilin, and Heilongjiang provinces in which she slandered Falun Dafa based on materials she had made up. After Lan returned home, she felt excruciating pain all over her body and was diagnosed with bone cancer. She died of bone cancer a week after she was hospitalized.

Ms. Zhang Yumei was the Chairwoman of the Teachers' Committee in Dong'an District, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. She ordered the students in all the elementary schools in her jurisdiction to swear and declare in writing that they were opposed to Falun Dafa. Thus the children in her jurisdiction were given an education in hate, in which they were taught to hate a cultivation practice based on the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance. On the eve of the Chinese New Year in 2001, Ms. Zhang Yumei suddenly experienced physical pain and died on the first day of the Chinese New Year. The autopsy revealed that her abdomen was filled with pus.

Mr. Liu Huaqing is a member of the Dongzhaike Village Committee in Dongzhaike Village, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. Since Jiang started to openly persecute Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, he has been active in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Liu has been trying to find information about Falun Gong practitioners in the village, and then when he finds information he gives it to the local police. He has also torn up truth-clarification materials and wiped out truth-clarification messages on the streets. His wife has already been inflicted with cancer and has been admitted to the hospital three times. So far he has spent more than 20,000 yuan (1) for his wife's medical treatment; however, she continues to deteriorate from her illness.

Mr. Liu Jinfa is a police officer in Yingzhuangchuan Village, Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province. He often spends his work hours secretly following Falun Gong practitioners. He often tears up truth-clarification materials and flyers, and harasses Falun Gong practitioners at their homes. In 2003, he had a car accident where he had a fracture of the skull, and paid over 10,000 yuan for his medical bills. It seems that after the car accident he has now come to believe in the ancient Chinese saying that good is rewarded by good and bad is met with retribution, because he is now less active in assisting in the persecution.

Mr. Zhang Zhongyu is a villager in his 50's in Hebei Village, Kulongtai, Beining City, Liaoning Province. Shortly after he repainted the walls to cover over messages containing the facts about Falun Dafa, he had a car accident and broke some ribs.
