An Aged Mother Grieves as Daughter is Killed and Son is Disabled by Torture While in Police Custody

(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Jiang Lide is a 34-year-old Dafa practitioner from Lujia Village, in Wutai Town, Dehui City, Jilin Province. On the evening of May 14, 2004, the police from Dehui City abducted him while he was on his way home. Now, Mr. Jiang is detained in the detention center in Dehui City. Because his younger sister, Ms Jiang Chunxian, persistently practiced Falun Dafa, she was abducted by the authorities of the first section of the Changchun City Public Security Bureau. Later on, she was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Dehui City Court. On January 16, 2004, she was sent to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun. Thirty four days later, she died in police custody with bruises all over her body.

In 2002, when Mr. Jiang was in Jiutai City, the Jiutai police abducted him. Later on, he was sent to the first section of Changchun City Public Security Bureau and was brutally tortured there. Unable to bear the torture, Mr. Jiang jumped from the sixth floor and was severely injured. Many bones were broken, and he remained in a vegetative state for many days. Now both of his legs had to be clamped by steel plates, and there was still a half-foot long scab on one of his legs. He is very weak and has become disabled.

Even in this condition, the Dehui City Police still did not stop persecuting Mr. Jiang. On the evening of May 14, 2004, when he was on his way home, he was abducted by the authorities again.

When Mr. Jiang's mother heard that her son was taken away again, she grieved very much. She wanted to cry, but she did not have any tears left. Her daughter had just been tortured to death, now her son had been seized again. Her grief caused her to fall ill again.

Mr. Jiang's younger sister, Ms. Jiang Chunxian, had once been detained 14 months longer than her original term in the detention center of Dehui City. She suffered from many kinds of tortures, which caused her to catch tubercular peritonitis and other diseases. When she was sent to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, the jail doctor gave her a physical examination. She did not conform to the condition of prison service, so they refused to accept her. However, the judicial and public security organs in Dehui City regarded her life as worthless. They colluded with the Changchun Public Security Hospital and issued an enforced command. On January 16, they sent her to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. 34 days later, on February 19, she was tortured to death in detention. When her family members checked her body, they found a bloody wound on her back. In addition, there were two lacerations inside her thighs. The jail authorities forced her family members to sign papers agreeing to the cremation.
