The "610 Office" (1) in Yakeshi City has led the persecution against Falun Dafa practitioners in the area since July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. Some of its crimes against Falun Dafa practitioners include ransacking practitioners' homes, extorting practitioners by collecting illegal fines, illegally detaining Dafa practitioners, forcing practitioners into labor camps (for torture and slave labor), and illegally sentencing Dafa practitioners to jail terms.

There is a famous ancient Chinese saying, "There are spiritual beings three feet above one's head," meaning gods will ultimately reward the good with good and punish the bad with retributions. Li Qun and Lin Haiqing, each of whom headed the local "610 Office" in consecutive terms, have met with their retributions. After Li Qun died of cancer, the subsequent head of the "610 Office," Lin Haiqing, now suffers from a terminal disease, and has to take leave from the office.

Gu Jiangsheng was a staff member at the Sanjianfang Office in Ang'angxi, Fulaji District, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province. He stopped at nothing in persecuting local Dafa practitioners. He burned their Falun Dafa books, ransacked their homes, abducted practitioners, and threatened and coerced Dafa practitioners, attempting to make them give up their beliefs. Not long ago, he crashed his motorcycle into a tree and became mentally incapacitated.

The Public Security Bureau in Liaoning Province established a local office in Jinzhou District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province in April 2002 to escalate the persecution against Dafa practitioners in Jinzhou District. Around the 2002 annual Tomb-Sweeping Day, which usually falls on April 5 or 6 each year, a helicopter carrying representatives from the Dalian City Public Security Bureau crashed in Daheishan, Jinzhou District. There were five people in that helicopter. Four died and one survived by jumping out of the helicopter. The craft and its four passengers were engulfed in an explosion. All of the four who died in the crash were representatives from the Liaoning Provincial Public Security Bureau. The Governor of Liaoning Province, Mr. Bo Xilai, and the Mayor of Dalian City, Mr. Li Yongjin, even went to inspect the crash site due to the severity of the crash. However, the news was kept secret by the Public Security Bureau and was hidden from the general public. The head of the Dalian City Public Security Bureau has commented in a meeting about the persecution against Falun Gong, "Many of our public security officers have died as a result of karmic retribution for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners."

Song Junlin is the Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee in Xinbin County, Fushun City, Liaoning Province. He has been very aggressively persecuting local Dafa practitioners. He taught his family to hate Falun Dafa. On March 1, 2004, Mrs. Song took a fall and broke her thighbone.

Li Jifeng, in his 30s, is a disciplinary staff member at the detention center in De'erbuer Town, Genhe City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. He has been extremely aggressive in torturing Dafa practitioners at the detention center. One of the tortures he has subjected Dafa practitioners to was forcing Dafa practitioners to stand barefooted outdoors in the middle of winter for more than six hours. So far he has encountered karmic retributions in the form of two car accidents where his thighbones were fractured.

Guozhong [last name withdrawn] is a police officer at the Yuantou Police Station in Zanhuang County, Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province. He often sneaked into Dafa practitioners' homes to spy and to eavesdrop on their conversations. In March 2003, he lost an eye in a brawl.

Shi Peiyong is a local resident in Lushuihe Town, Baishan City, Jilin Province. He reported to the police when Dafa practitioner Mr. Xiang Lianjie distributed materials containing the facts about Falun Dafa on the streets, and caused Mr. Xiang to be illegally sentenced for three years in the Chaoyang'gou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province, where he suffered from torture and slavery. Shi Peiyong met karmic retribution when his car crashed into a luxury sedan in Yanji City and he was asked to compensate the driver 400,000 Yuan (2).

Zheng Shuangqiao, 46, is a villager from Dongshawo Village, Xingtai County, Hebei Province. He assisted the Xingtai County police in promoting the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners for his personal profit. He broadcast propaganda movies that slander Falun Dafa in Dongshawo Village and its neighboring villages for 3,000 Yuan, and took pride in this quick and easy income. Not long ago, Zheng Shuangqiao suddenly started to display bizarre symptoms at a relative's banquet. He lost control of his facial muscles so his face became distorted and no one could understand his speech. He has also lost control of his limbs. The hospital could not identify the cause of these symptoms. He has already spent a large sum of money on his medical bills, and continues to suffer from this bizarre disease.

(1) "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
