Taiwan: Practitioners Clarify the Truth and Spread the Fa at Huwei Town Night Market (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On June 18, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioners from Yunlin County, Taiwan went to the Huwei Town Night Market at sunset to spread the truth of Falun Dafa. Practitioners used a projector in their booth to play a video program showing the wonders of Falun Dafa, which attracted a lot of people. The brief introduction of Falun Dafa was very popular. Many people asked about practice site locations, and said that they had heard about Falun Gong's wonderful healing effects and wanted to find out the secret of this wonderful practice. Many people in the crowd stopped at our booth and took balloons imprinted with "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance." The atmosphere was very positive.

A schoolteacher couple, Mr. and Mrs. Wang, who were taking a stroll with their baby at the Night Market, said that both their schools have faculty practicing Falun Gong. They have found that besides good health, every Falun Gong practitioner in their schools has high xinxing (heart/mind nature), works hard, is not upset by criticism, and gets along with colleagues very well. Therefore the couple registered for the Falun Gong seminar for schoolteachers scheduled for this summer in Yunlin County. They want to be Falun Gong practitioners to improve their mental and physical health.

At the booth, while kids were given bookmarks with pictures of young practitioners doing sitting meditation, their parents shared experiences of the improvements in their mind and body after practicing Falun Gong. A number of practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises and spread the Fa, and their faces were serene and peaceful. The field was so peaceful that many people in the crowd looked back frequently after they passed by, and some people stopped and asked for truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Lu, who coordinated the truth-clarification activity at the Huwei Night Market, said that clarifying the truth at night markets is a unique way of truth-clarification in Yunlin County. Similar activities have been conducted at Douliu City, Tuku Town, and Lunbei Village etc., and each time the result was very good. Therefore they plan to continue the activity in every corner of the county to let more people with predestined relationships encounter the incomparably precious Falun Dafa.
