Taiwan: Falun Dafa Truth-Clarifying Photo Exhibit Held at the National Taipei College of Nursing (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From June 9 to 18, the Falun Dafa Club of National Taipei College of Nursing held a "Falun Dafa Truth-Clarifying Photo Exhibit" on campus. The exhibit was set up in the corridor linking the faculty members' offices and the library, a main corridor for students, faculties and staff members. In addition, the computer lab commonly used by all students was directly opposite to the exhibit. The exhibit attracted many people's attention and won their support.

Since Falun Dafa was introduced to Taiwan in 1995, cultivation in accordance with Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance has been emphasized and the effect in improving health has been remarkable. This has been commonly acknowledged by the government and people from all walks of life. In the past two years, one after another, young students have established clubs in universities. At present, at least 20 universities have Falun Dafa clubs.

From the first day of the exhibit, Falun Gong practitioners felt the warm welcome from students and faculty members. When the bell sounded indicating the end of the class, students taking classes in the computer lab came out to look at the exhibit and asked questions. The corridor was always crowded.

A guestbook was placed at the display booth. Many students signed it and expressed their support for Falun Dafa. One student wrote, "I felt that your activity was really significant and valuable in terms of education. The bookmarks with designs of young practitioners' meditation are beautiful!" Some wrote, "I'm very pleased to learn the truth and hope more people will be aware of it, because I feel that Falun Gong is truly great!" Another student wrote, "I could not imagine that there is such a great club in our school!"

When a staff member in charge of the computer lab learned the news about the photo exhibit, he said that he knew about the worldwide spread of Falun Dafa and the Mainland's slandering propaganda against it. He provided much support to practitioners. For example, during the final examination, practitioners from the club were unable to be present at the exhibit; this staff member then helped move the tables around and took care of the exhibit. He said, "This is the most attractive display on campus. Your activity is very successful! Keep going!"

Many people felt it hard to understand why such a practice, which is warmly received throughout the world, is suppressed in its place of origin -- China. Through this exhibit, many professors and students expressed their understandings and support towards Dafa. This indicated how unpopular the Jiang group's unreasonable suppression has become. At the same time, many students and professors also expressed their gratitude for practitioners' effort, which was quite touching and encouraging.

The National Taipei College of Nursing is the oldest independent nursing college in Taiwan. The attached hospital is also the first local hospital that has a "nursing institute" for educational purposes. This was the first time the Falun Dafa Club at this college held an exhibit. Practitioners did not have much experience and therefore they invited some practitioners from other universities to help with the exhibition. The display was grand. With all participants' cooperation, the corridor became a field of righteous thoughts. We believe that all passersby would feel the beauty and sacredness of Falun Dafa. Students and faculty members' acknowledgement and support let practitioners realize that we should continue to clarify the truth until the persecution ends. The more people who know about Falun Dafa, the more righteous support there will be.
