Zhao Shuang and Others In the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp Brutally Torture Falun Dafa Practitioners

(Clearwisdom.net) On September 11, 2002, the Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp formed a "special team" headed by Mr. Zhao Shuang to persecute Falun Dafa practitioners. The "special team" gathered 15 regular criminals to assist them in persecuting Dafa practitioners. This group exhausted all means to torture Dafa practitioners. The 15 criminals were all rewarded with reduced terms for participating in the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners. Almost all the practitioners held in the labor camp were tortured by police and the criminal inmates of the "special team".

The "special team" employed many cruel means to torture practitioners. For example, they would cuff a practitioner to the head of an iron bed and then use electric batons to shock him, slap his face, kick and punch him, and deprive him of sleep. They would also force practitioners to sit on an iron chair, squat on the floor for a long time, or force them to lay facedown on the floor while they pulled their arms and legs backward to the extreme.

Under the instigation and connivance of Zhao Shuang, criminals Yang Xiaodong, Yu Fuchun, and Sun Jinwei madly tortured Dafa practitioners. During the winter, various methods such as shocking practitioners with electric batons while pouring water over them, pouring water over them after stripping off their clothes, or pouring cold water onto their clothes and neck were done. Practitioner Gao Ke had to endure extreme cruelty. They used a wooden bench to fiercely beat practitioners, breaking it into pieces. They violently squeezed the testicles of practitioners with gloves covering their hands. Criminals also inserted a toothbrush handle into the gap between fingers of practitioners, fiercely turning the toothbrush so that the skin on their fingers would quickly become abraded and bleeding. They also arbitrarily took food, clothes, and daily necessities sent in by the practitioners' families.

The period from September 11, 2002 to March 2003 was the time when the "special team" was most active and inhuman in persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners who were held there.

In 2003, the "special team" was renamed the "No. 5 Brigade". Mr. Shi Yingbai, who was the new head of the labor camp and former Deputy Head of the Wanjia Forced Labor Camp of Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province supported policeman Zhao Shuang who was utmost in persecuting Dafa practitioners in the labor camp to continue in his role.

Zhao Shuang is an alcoholic. After he became drunk, he would torture practitioners in a frenzy. He would beat and scream at the practitioners, often prolonging the day's forced labor past 10:00pm or midnight if a practitioner slowed down, or produced a defective product.

In the fall of 2003, while a practitioner was tied on an iron chair, Zhao Shuang used an electric baton to shock his face, ear, mouth, and neck. He also caught a mouse and stuffed it into the mouth of the practitioner. The Dafa practitioner told Zhao that his left ear bore a hole due to the beating. Zhao became more rampant and claimed that he would beat him and leave a hole on his right ear.

In February 2004, two practitioners were sent to the No. 5 Brigade for torture because they were seen practicing the Falun Dafa exercises. Zhao did not let them say a word. He yelled, threatened, and slapped their faces. One of the practitioners staggered while resisting Zhao. Zhao became enraged. He had over ten criminals beat the two practitioners. Their faces were covered with blood and their bodies covered with bruises. Zhao put the practitioners in solitary confinement and forced them to sit on iron chairs for over ten days. Dafa practitioners were often beaten to the point that their faces were swollen so that the others could hardly recognize them.
