1. [Taishan City, Guangdong Province] Three Falun Dafa Practitioners Go On
Hunger Strike for Eight Days in a Detention Center
Ruan Xianchou, Li Haiqiang and Huang Jianyu are Falun Dafa practitioners in
Taishan City, Guangdong Province. On April 20, 2004, they were forcibly taken
into custody by members of the Jiangmen "610 Office" (1) and the Taishan City
"610 Office." The three practitioners are being held in the Taishan City No. 2
Detention Center. They are on the eighth day of a hunger strike, abstaining from
both food and water. They are in critical condition and cannot even walk. The
police are preparing to transfer them to the Sanshui Forced Labor Camp in
Guangdong Province. However, because of their poor physical condition, the
forced labor camp authorities have refused to take them in.

2. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Wang Xingxiang's Right Arm Broken from Police
Brutality
On March 25, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Wang Xingxiang was arrested by
police in Guojia Town, Dehui City, Jilin Province and sent to the Dehui City
Police Department for brutal torture. Wang's right arm was broken during the
torture. Wang is being subjected to escalated abuse while being held in the
Hospital of the Changchun City Police Department.
3. [Jilin Province] Facts surrounding the Persecution in the Heizuizi Forced
Labor Camp
On the evening of March 18, 2004, Ms. Fu Yanfei, a Falun Dafa practitioner
held in the No. 3 Brigade of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp, was dragged to an
administrative office for persecution. She did not return that evening and was
then held in isolation. She has not been seen since then.
On March 18, 2004, several male supervisors from the administrative section
and other divisions of the labor camp arrived at the No. 3 Brigade. Led by Liu
Hui and all other female supervisors, they dragged Falun Dafa practitioner Ms.
Wang Shuxia out for torture, simply because she stood up for justice for Falun
Dafa.
On March 20, 2004, Ms. Lin Dan was dragged out for punishment simply for
practicing the Falun Dafa exercises. During those days, "Falun Dafa is good"
echoed throughout the building, as male officers were brutally torturing Falun
Gong practitioners in the No. 3 Brigade.
Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Hongyun was unlawfully held in the No. 3
Brigade of the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. She had been held in isolation and
subjected to extended periods of brainwashing. She was also deprived of sleep.
At one point, the police abuse was so extreme that she lost consciousness, and
she also suffered a mental collapse. She is now being put into a forced labor
camp.

4. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Chen Dongping Arrested
After 1:00 p.m. on May 12, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Chen Dongping was
arrested in the courtyard of the building where he resided. Chen's home was
ransacked. Chen Wanchi, Chen's 13-year-old daughter, was also taken to the
city's police department. The child refused to get into the police vehicle.
Several officers forcefully dragged her into it, ripping apart her pants in the
process. Later, administrators and teachers from the Nantai Elementary School,
which she had attended, took her out of police custody, so that she could go
back to school.
5. [Maoming City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Yanrui Abducted by Police
Again
Ms. Chen Yanrui is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Maoming City, Guangdong
Province. On the afternoon of May 11, officers from Maonan District arrested her
at her workplace. The police once broke her right hand because she had strong
belief in Falun Dafa and refused to renounce her belief. Through practicing the
Falun Gong exercises, she has since recovered completely.
6. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wang Haijun Arrested by Officers from the
Linjiangmen Police Station
Mr. Wang Haijun, a man in his thirties, is from Jilin City, Jilin Province.
He was unlawfully sentenced to forced labor for appealing for Falun Dafa. At
8:25 a.m. on May 8, 2004, he got on a bus from Line No. 8 at the Yuwen Middle
School bus stop. As soon as he got onto a bus, three officers and plainclothes
policemen arrested him. He was taken to the Linjiangmen Police Station in
Yingchuan District, Jilin City, Jilin Province. Officers from this police
station have terrorized numerous Falun Dafa practitioners on various occasions.
Many practitioners have been sent to forced labor camps from this station.

7. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Huang Yongchuan Arrested
Mr. Huang Yongchuan, a man in his forties, was a driver for the Jilin City
General Company of Public Transportation. After 6:00 p.m. on May 15, 2004, Mr.
Huang went to the Jilin City Military Medical Institute affiliated with the No.
4 Military Medical University in Jilin City to post Falun Gong truth-clarifying
materials. Personnel from the security division of the institute caught him.
Later, officials from the Security Division of the Jilin City General Company of
Public Transportation, took him away.

8. [Chongqing] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners in Fuling District Arrested
On April 26, 2004, police arrested several Falun Dafa practitioners in Fuling
District, Chongqing, including Chen Banlin and his wife, Liu Ping and his wife,
and others. The two couples both have elderly parents that need care. Liu also
has two underage children at home unattended.
9. [Dehui City, Jilin Province] Jiang Lide Arrested
Jiang Lide, a Falun Dafa practitioner in Dehui City, Jilin Province, was
arrested by police on the evening of May 14, 2004 while walking home. Jiang is
being held in the Dehui City Detention Center.
10. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Seventy-three-Year-Old Falun Dafa
Practitioner in Dawa County Detained
Ning Bo, 73, is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Xiaolianggou Village in Xi'an
Township, Dawa County, Panjin City, Liaoning Province. Around 3:00 p.m. on May
19, 2004, officers led by Zhang Mingjiang, head of the Xi'an Police Station,
broke into Ning's home. Ning was arrested and unlawfully held in the Dawa County
Detention Center in Panjin City, Liaoning Province.
11. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Lawless Officials in Hongshan District
Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners
On May 12, about a dozen officers broke into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu
Guolian's home. The officers were from the Zuoling Town Legal Office in Hongshan
District and from the Gehua Police Station. Ms. Xu was a retired employee of the
Gedian Chemical Factory. She had been unlawfully detained in Wuhan's Women's
Prison for three years. This time the officers were trying to abduct her and
take her to a brainwashing center. Ms. Xu thwarted their attempt with righteous
thoughts. She has been forced to stay away from home since then.
On May 15, the same group of people led a dozen more heavy-duty villagers
from Xudun Village in Zuoling Town to break into Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Xu
Aiying's home. Ms. Xu was formerly an employee of the Gedian Chemical Factory.
She was expelled from the factory because she practiced Falun Dafa. She had also
been unlawfully detained in the Hewan Forced Labor Camp in Wuhan City. She was
deceived into getting into a vehicle and was taken to a brainwashing facility.

12. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Several Falun Dafa Practitioners in
Taihe District Arrested
On the evening of May 17, 2004, the police arrested four Falun Dafa
practitioners in Xiaoxing Village in the jurisdiction of the Xinglong
Neighborhood Administration in Taihe District, Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province.
Three local practitioners Zhang Shubin, Zhang Baoguo, and Zhao Guirong went to
visit an out-of-town practitioner Ms. Zhang Yuqin, who was forced to leave her
hometown of Yi County and was staying in Jinzhou temporarily. All four
practitioners were wrongfully placed under arrest.
13. [Laiwu City, Shandong Province] Ren Xulan Arrested
Ren Xulan is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Baimayu Village, Laicheng District,
Laiwu City, Shandong Province. Between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. on May 15, Ren was
clarifying the truth about Falun Dafa in a neighboring village. Informants
called the police. Ren was arrested and has since then been held in the Laiwu
City Detention Center. Ren's home was also ransacked.
14. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Jingxian Unlawfully Detained
Ms. Liu Jingxian, 58, is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Shenyang City, Liaoning
Province. At noon on May 13, 2004, officers from the Gaokan Town Police Station
deceived her into going to the police station, saying that she needed to verify
residential papers. She was detained and has since then been held in the
Shenyang City Detention Center.
15. [Beijing] Two Falun Dafa Practitioners in Jinzhan Township, Chaoyang
District Arrested; Their Homes Ransacked
Ms. Zhang Peizhi and an elderly woman who is nearly 70 years old are Falun
Dafa practitioners in Xi Brigade, Jinzhan Township, Chaoyang District, Beijing.
On May 13, the two practitioners went out to distribute truth-clarifying
materials and were unlawfully arrested. Two members of the State Brigade Ye
Youzhong and Fan Baobin searched the practitioners' homes. Fan's telephone

16. [Chongqing] Details on the Unlawful Treatment of Dafa Practitioner Mr.
Zhang Qiyong
Around 5:00 p.m. on May 1, 2004, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Zhang Qiyong was
wrongfully arrested while walking near Huahuiyuan Garden in Yubei District,
Chongqing. Mr. Zhang is being held in the Qijiang Detention Center, Chongqing,
the telephone number of which is 86-23-48615603. He continued to practice Falun
Dafa exercises and went on a hunger strike. He was thus handcuffed and shackled.
Mr. Zhang, 28, graduated from Sichuan University. He once worked at the
Qijiang County Branch of the China Life Insurance Company. At the end of
November 1999, he went to visit a fellow practitioner and was arrested by the
police unreasonably. He was sent to the Xishanping Forced Labor to serve a
two-year term. At the end of November 2001, he walked out of the labor camp with
dignity and has had to abandon his home to avoid future arrest.
17. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Li Yuzhi Arrested
Ms. Li Yuzhi is from Hongshan District in Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. She
was unlawfully sentenced to two years of forced labor in 2000 for distributing
Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. She was released from the Tuziji Forced
Labor Camp in 2001. On April 5, 2004, she told passengers on a train the facts
surrounding the persecution of Falun Gong while she was going to Chengde, Hebei
Province from Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia. She was arrested by railroad police
officers in the Tongliao Railroad Bureau in Inner Mongolia. She is being held in
the Tongliao Railroad Bureau Detention Center.

18. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Three Dafa Practitioners Arrested and
Sentenced to Prison for Distributing Truth-clarifying Materials
On January 5, 2004, fellow Falun Dafa practitioners Zhao Xincui, Chen Taiying
and I were distributing Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials in the neighboring
Fenghuang Village. When we were done and ready to go back home, we saw a vehicle
following us (we heard that informants had alerted the police). The vehicle
cornered us and a group of policemen came out. They forced the three of us into
the vehicle and drove to the police station. We were unlawfully detained for 15
days. Four days later, the police pretended to be nice and let me go home,
saying my child was only three years old and needed my care. Fifteen days later,
just before the Spring Festival, the other two practitioners were unlawfully
sentenced to two years in prison. I was also sentenced to one year of prison (to
be served outside of prison).

19. [Haizhu, Guangdong Province] Ms. Deng Shujuan Abducted and Taken to a
Brainwashing Center
Ms. Deng Shujuan is a Falun Dafa practitioner in Haizhu District, Guangzhou
City, Guangdong Province. During the second half of April this year, members of
the Haizhu District "610 Office" took her to the Zhuhai District Brainwashing
Center.
20. [Chicheng County, Hebei Province] Retired Cadre Unlawfully Detained
Mr. Wang Yu, 66, is a Falun Gong practitioner in Chicheng County, Hebei
Province. He was the director of the Chengguan Credit Union in Chicheng County
and has retired for many years. He lives in Xingrenbao Village, Chicheng County.
Around 9:00 p.m. on May 12, 2004, he was taken to the county police department
for posting banners with the words "Falun Dafa is Great." He has been unlawfully
detained and held in the county detention center.

Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party
and all other political and judiciary systems.
