"Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin" Car Tour Stops in Louisiana and Mississippi (Photo)
(Clearwisdom.net) The Car Tour to "Support the Lawsuit Against Jiang Zemin"
started in Houston Texas and visited San Antonio, Austin, Waco, Dallas. Then it
passed through the states of Louisiana and Mississippi. On the morning of May 21, Falun Gong practitioners arrived in Baton Rouge,
the capital of Louisiana. The practitioners set up banners reading, "Urgent SOS!
Rescue Falun Gong Practitioners in China" and "Now Happening in China" in the
square in front of the state government building. Three practitioners exhibited
the tortures being applied to Falun Gong practitioners in China. One
practitioner distributed truth-clarification materials to passersby and answered
their questions. People were shocked to see the torture scenes and started to
have a deeper understanding of the Jiang group's brutal crimes. Some people read
the flyer and asked many questions. In the afternoon, the practitioners continued their trip and arrived in
Jackson, Mississippi. They set up the banners, and once again exhibited the
tortures and clarified the truth to passersby outside the capitol building.
Later, the practitioners left Jackson and drove north all night. The next
morning, they arrived in Chicago and met the Car Tours from East Coast, West
Coast and Bike Tour teams. After the Experience Sharing Conference on May 27, the Car Tour members
headed back to Texas. In order to clarify the truth to more people, they went
through New Orleans and Baton Rouge in Louisiana, stopping to portray the
torture scenes once again. New Orleans is a medium sized city with a population about 400,000. The
street in front of city hall was crowded with government clerks, officials,
policemen, and passersby. They all had the chance to see what is taking place in
China. The practitioners answered their questions. On the afternoon of May 28, practitioners went to Baton Rouge, Louisiana
again and exhibited the torture in front of city hall. Two reporters from the
major local newspaper "The Advocate" came to interview the practitioners. One
reporter took one hour taking photos and a western practitioner answered many
questions. The scenes of torture allowed the American people to get a better sense of
the atrocities being committed in China. When the kindness in their hearts
awakens, they will take the initiative to step up and denounce the persecution. |
