(Clearwisdom.net) Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai are visiting South Africa from June 27 to 29. After learning the news, Falun Gong practitioners from Australia and South Africa planned to file a lawsuit against the two Chinese officials visiting South Africa, charging them with following Jiang's persecution policies against Falun Gong practitioners. However, on the evening of June 28, these practitioners were shot at by an unknown assailant who drove past them as they made their way from the airport to the Presidential Guest House. One practitioner was hit and seriously injured. This incident is not coincidental and is yet another manifestation of the state terrorism Jiang and his followers carry out against Falun Gong. This act also indicates how fearful and desperate Jiang and his accomplices are when facing the possibility of being sued overseas.

Jiang's rule is based on terror. During the past five years of persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, Jiang and his followers, including Zeng Qinghong and Bo Xilai, have abused the law and manipulated various government departments in order to brutally persecute Falun Gong practitioners. As of today, 996 practitioners are verified to have died of torture and other acts of persecution. Over 100,000 people have been sent to labor camps, and thousands sent to mental hospitals to be injected with drugs that damage the central nervous system. Many more practitioners have been forced into brainwashing programs to be tortured both mentally and physically in order to force practitioners to renounce their spiritual belief. Moreover, Jiang has extended the persecution overseas to Falun Gong practitioners through the use of the consulates and embassies around the world. This time the shooting in South Africa clearly exposes the terrorism of Jiang and his followers.

Jiang and his followers are in fact cowards. They must rely on terror to maintain their rule. Because they are filled with fear, they think they can conquer others by imposing fear on them. However, Falun Gong practitioners, who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance, have been resisting the persecution through peaceful, rational, and non-violent means. Over the last two years, practitioners around the world have brought several lawsuits against Jiang, Luo Gan, Zeng Qinghong, Bo Xilai and other Chinese officials. As a result, these perpetrators are living in fear. Ever since Jiang was sued in the U.S. for genocide, torture and crimes against humanity, he has been intensely pressuring the U.S. government behind the scenes, hoping to intimidate the U.S. executive branch to interfere with the U.S. judicial branch's decisions regarding the lawsuit. However, crimes are crimes. Jiang and his followers will never escape the punishment of the law.

It now appears that these cowards hired hit men to shoot Falun Gong practitioners in South Africa, attempting to stop practitioners from suing them. However, their act can only make the governments and people around the world more clearly see their fear and brutality, and adds one more crime to the mountain of crimes they are responsible for committing. Falun Gong practitioners will continue to carry out this lawsuit as planned, until these criminals are brought to justice.
