Officials in Henan and Guangzhou Provinces Who Persecuted Practitioners Receive Karmic Retribution

[Editors' Note: In both Western and Chinese culture, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." The universe will reward actions that are in harmony with this principle, while actions such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.]

Wang Jinzhong, 45-year-old male, was second in charge of the South Street Village Committee, Leihe City, Henan Province. In the summer of 2003 (around July), he suddenly died of heart attack. After his death, his personal safety cabinet was opened. Shockingly, jewelry, a bankbook, cash, and other valuables were found inside. The worth was huge and people were amazed and speechless. Wang was the second head of South Street Village, and he had abused his power for personal gain. His attitude toward Falun Dafa practitioners was extremely bad. He had illegally detained and fined practitioners in the South Street Village. It was said he even forced a practitioner into a pigpen. Because he had committed so many bad deeds, he received karmic retribution. Although he had money and power, he was not able to enjoy either. His personal property was confiscated. In the end, he had neither money nor his life.

Ruan Zhong, the head of the "610 Office"(1) at the Dianbai County Police Station, has persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners. He has been sick, but has not dared to let others know. He was afraid that his case would be exposed on the Internet by practitioners. He has had rheumatic heart disease for about six months. While in pain too severe to hide, helpless, he was sent to the Maoming City People's Hospital, where he stayed in the fourth building, groaning in agony.

On the night of the second day of the 2001 Chinese New Year, several hundred Falun Dafa practitioners throughout the county were awakened from sound sleep. Under Ruan Zhong's instructions, those practitioners were illegally taken and sent to the Dianbai Second Detention Center and given unlimited terms, and 30 practitioners were illegally sent to labor camps.

Today, Ruan Zhong is receiving karmic retribution for his evildoing. We advise those who are still persecuting Dafa practitioners: no matter whether or not you believe in the existence of Gods and Buddhas, don't gamble with your lives.

(1) The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
