Practitioner Zhu Hongbing Resists Persecution with Righteous Thoughts at Daqing Prison By a Dafa practitioner abducted by Daqing prison (Clearwisdom.net) Dafa disciple Mr. Zhu Hongbing, 38, a worker from the
seventh Daqing factory, was sent to Daqing prison. When Zhu Hongbing's name is
mentioned, everyone in the prison from the head of the prison to the lowest
prisoners know him, even head of prisoners are afraid of him. The guards and
prisoners who tortured him said with respect: "Dafa disciples are very good,
very strong and tough!" The following is Zhu Hongbing's story of validating Dafa while in the Daqing
prison. Since the day Mr. Zhu Hongbing went to prison, guard Gu Zhifu tried to force
him to "confess". Hongbing said, "I practice Falun Gong and have learned to be a
good man, I have no crime to confess to!" Gu Zhifu then restricted him from
using the restroom. They shaved his head and forced him to wear a red prison
uniform. Hongbing responded by fasting to resist the persecution. Gu Zhifu
ordered prisoners to use chopsticks to stab at his throat, then bind him into
the hallway, and force him to stand barefoot on top of two little boxes. His
feet went numb. When he could stand no longer, he was dragged by Gu and others
and beaten. His face and body were bruised until they were black and blue. Yet,
Hongbing still kept clarifying the truth continuously, so his persecutors shoved
towels in his mouth to prevent him from speaking. After three days of torture
and fasting, Hongbing became very weak. However he still continued to endure:
"Practicing Dafa is innocent, Dafa is very good!" On September 21st, he was sent to the 7th group, whose
goal was to force Zhu Hongbing to plead guilty and thus force him to give up
cultivation. Zhu Hongbing continued to fast as his show of resistance. They kept
him from sleeping and appointed prisoners to monitor him constantly, forcing Zhu
to sit stationary for long periods of time. They still continued to torture Mr.
Zhu even though he was extremely weak and had a high fever. The police then
tried to force feed him, but Zhu Hongbing still lost consciousness, falling into
a coma. On October 1st, Zhu was sent to the hospital for emergency rescue.
And, his family was notified. After the doctor's examination, they found that
Zhu Hongbing's lungs were swollen and severely injured requiring him to have
surgery. During the surgery, two pieces of his lungs were removed. In December,
Zhu Hongbing was sent to Daqing prison hospital. During his stay at the hospital, Mr. Zhu's family hired a lawyer to sue the
prison. The lawyer came to ask about the details of Zhu Hongbing's case, which
frightened the warden. So, they put the lawyer into a cell, pressured and
threatened him, forcing him not to participate in this case. The lawyer was
powerless and quit the case. In April 2003, Zhu Hongbing was sent back to the sick prisoners' cells. He
still didn't want to wear the prison uniform, have his head shaved or write
"guilty". The prison police found four inmates to force Zhu Hongbing down to the
ground and then wrote "guilty" on his body. During the period of the SARS outbreak, in Daqing prison's fifth group,
practitioner Anxing was forced to stand for an extended period of time and
deprived of sleep because he refused to write a "confession." In the prison's
first group, Dafa disciple Li Lizhuang was beaten to until he had injuries that
covered his body. For these reasons, Zhu Hongbing went to talk to the warden. The warden didn't
care at first; so, Zhu Hongbing started another hunger strike. At first the
group didn't care, but, as Zhu Hongbing's fast entered it's 6th day,
group leader Pan became scared and ordered the inmates force feed him. The
inmates dragged the feeding tube in and out of his stomach purposely to torture
him. They force fed Zhu Hongbing once every three days, the goal was to keep him
alive just enough to continue the torture. When Zhu's fast reached the 26th
day, everybody thought he would die, the death certificate was prepared. But all
of the sudden, on the 26th day, Zhu Hongbing stood up and was full of
energy, he was no different than any other healthy person. The whole prison was
shocked by it. The prisoners gained new respect for Dafa, they said, "Falun Dafa
is miraculous, Dafa disciples are very powerful, very tough and strong!" Thus,
the head of the prison came to see Zhu Hongbing and agreed to his terms. Zhu Hongbing's peaceful resistance deeply encouraged all other Falun Gong
