(Clearwisdom.net) My son went to Beijing to clarify the truth and to distribute truth-clarification materials during his summer vacation. They arrested and sentenced him to one and a half years of forced labor, and illegally detained him at Beijing's Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp.

When I received a Visit Notice and my son's letter, I thought, "Although last time when I went to his university to clarify the truth the result was very good; now that he is in the labor camp, I'm afraid it is impossible to clarify the truth there." As soon as this thought emerged I felt my whole body weak and powerless and my head uncomfortable, too. I immediately realized this thought was wrong. How could a Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioner fear evil? Teacher said,

How clear Teacher has made it! Yes, I would clarify the truth in the labor camp!

When I arrived at the labor camp it wasn't during visiting hours. I was suddenly inspired and asked the doorman to find me the supervisor. In no more than ten minutes, a middle-aged man came out of the room and looked around asking, "Who was looking for me?" I approached him and answered, "I was looking for you. Please come and talk with me over there." We walked to the wall about twenty meters away from the gate and he asked me, "Who are you? What do you want me for?" I answered kindly and seriously, "I came here as soon as I received the Visit Notice. I asked you to come out because I wanted to give you a precious gift. Everyone wants a happy life and a wonderful future; some people can have them but some cannot. I have them, and I wish all my friends to have them. I sincerely hope you can have them, too."

Then I told him that the world needed "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and that a large number of Falun Dafa practitioners undertook the will of heaven and spread Falun Dafa and validated Falun Dafa, and their moral standard was raised and their spirits were purified. But they are now suffering brutal persecution, which resulted in so many good people being sentenced to jail, crippled or being killed. I told him the World Organization of Investigation of the Persecution of Falun Gong had been established, and the day to bring Jiang to justice was very close. I told him many police officers had learned the truth and had changed their attitudes to Falun Dafa practitioners. Finally, I said, "I hope you can make a clear distinction between right and wrong, good and evil, and do not aid the evildoers to do evil."

I spoke with him for two hours. He did not say a word but listened to me quietly. As soon as I stopped he said, "I really admire you for being brave enough to talk about these issues to someone like me in this place." I said, "This is the gift I wanted to give you. Because it is for your good, I should not fear anything." He said, "Thank you for your frankness and honesty. I do appreciate your following of 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance,' however why are you against the government, posting banners and distributing flyers?" I told him, "We are not against the government, and we do not regard anyone as an enemy. When Falun Gong practitioners completely follow Teacher Li's teachings to purify their body and mind according to 'Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance', the many advantages for the country, its people and the entire human race become obvious. However, we are slandered by villains having dangerous intentions who usurp state power to commit suicide or murder. Why can't these slandered Falun Dafa practitioners speak out to say, 'I did not kill anyone, I am innocent?'" He asked, "If you did not kill, of course you can say so. Not only that, you can also accuse the slanderer." I said, "Right. But where are Falun Dafa practitioners allowed to say so or accuse anyone? We trusted the government and reported our situation to the government, but we were arrested and sentenced to forced labor and not allowed to speak. Faced with this situation, we use our own hard-earned money and buy paper, print some words of truth on it, and give it to people, post it next to the road or on the wall, telling people that we are innocent, that we did not kill people, that we are slandered, that Falun Dafa is a righteous way, that Teacher Li is innocent. Is this anti-government?"

He smiled and said, "What you said makes a lot of sense. I now understand." Finally I told him the truth of the staged self-immolation incident. We talked for three hours in total. In the end he said, "It's getting dark. Let's meet again tomorrow."

The visit hours started at 8:00 A.M. the next morning. The regulation only allows thirty minutes, but I spoke with my son for two hours. Every word that my son and I talked about was about Dafa. The supervisor standing behind us listened. He sometimes smiled at us. When I left he walked me to the outside of the door and said, "I welcome you to come again." I smiled and said to him, "I hope you have a wonderful future."
