More Details about the Death of Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Youchun

(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Youchun was from Dai County in the Xinzhou Area of Shanxi Province. His nickname was Song Yongjun. He went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in the year 2000 and was tortured to death at a labor camp in Yuanping County. He was only thirty years old at the time of his death.

Song Youchun started practicing Falun Gong when he was a college student at Linfen Normal College. After graduation, he became a teacher at Dai County No. 2 High School. He was the coordinator of the Falun Gong practice site in that area. Except for a younger brother, the rest of his family, including his wife and parents are all Dafa practitioners. They had a happy family.

In January 2001, we learned from people in Song's village that Song was sentenced to forced labor for going to Beijing to appeal for Dafa in the year 2000. He suffered brutal torture at a labor camp in Yuanping County and was in critical condition. To avoid being responsible for his death, the labor camp notified Song's family to take him home. Song died not long after he came home. He was only 30 years old, and he left behind his wife, a very young child and elderly parents.
