(Clearwisdom.net) I am Tang Yunxia, now 40 years old. Originally, I rented a room in #7 of the second unit of the 13^th Building, in Lianhua second residential area, Jinjiang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province.

Because of persisting in practicing Falun Gong, I was illegally sentenced to labor camp twice and was illegally detained 15 times by the Jinjiang district "610 Office" [an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems], the first section of Jinjiang district public security sub-bureau branch and the Longzhou Road Local Police Station.

On July 14, 2001, I was kidnapped again and sentenced to forced labor for one and a half years. I was imprisoned in the Sichuan Provincial Zizhong Women's Labor Camp. In December 2002, after my sentence for re-education through labor was reached, because I did not give up the belief of Zhen Shan Ren (Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance), I was sent to Pengzhou Municipal brainwashing class and was imprisoned for an undetermined amount of time by the director of the Pengzhou Municipal "610 Office," Yue Qigui, Chen Qiang and a man surnamed Liao. During the illegal imprisonment, I twice was sent to the Pengzhou Municipal mental hospital.

At the beginning of July 2003, I went on a hunger strike to resist the long-term persecution and to proclaim my personal rights of freedom as a citizen. As a result, I was sent to Pengzhou Municipal Mental Hospital. In the mental hospital, I was injected with an opaque liquid, which caused all kinds of swelling in my whole body. The swelling was inflamed. Some of the areas were the size of the palm of my hand and some were thumb-sized. They were very itchy. I was then weighed down with heavy foot shackles. They continued to inject me with the opaque liquid. I refused the injection, so nurse Liu Min, who did not know the truth about Falun Gong, tied my hands behind my back on the bed and continued to forcefully infuse me with the drug, which caused aching across my whole body that I could hardly bear. I was unable to move. Even worse was that when I requested to go to the restroom over and over again, nurse Liu Min rejected my request every time. After several days, I was sent to the brainwashing class to be persecuted by a director Qiao Lijun of the Pengzhou Municipal "610 Office."

After a week, I was sent to the mental hospital again and was illegally detained in a small room and was injected with the opaque liquid against my will. During this period of time, the personnel of the "610 Office" and Li'an Town government demanded a member of my family to write guarantees [to not practice Falun Gong] so that they could release me. In addition, they said I was not well. My family member refused to write any guarantee, and requested to see me in person. My family member's request was rejected by the "610" personnel, so they suffered enormous emotional anguish.

Under the close control and instigation of the Pengzhou Municipal "610 Office," the Pengzhou Municipal brainwashing class and the Pengzhou Municipal Mental Hospital severely persecuted Falun Dafa practitioners.

When Dafa practitioner Zheng Weigang was kidnapped, he had a strong body. After he was illegally imprisoned for over one year in the Pengzhou Municipal brainwashing class and the Pengzhou Municipal Mental Hospital, he was persecuted to paralysis.

When I neared death, the doctor from the Pengzhou Municipal mental hospital requested Qiao Lijun, the director of the "610 Office," to release me. Qiao Lijun refused and said, "No way. We will still watch over her!" I suffered from brutal persecution in the Pengzhou Municipal brainwash class and the Pengzhou Municipal Mental Hospital. My physical health seriously deteriorated and my body weight dropped to around 88 pounds from over 130 pounds. Doctor Zeng Xiaoping gave me a physical examination and found that I suffered from a serious intestinal adhesion and appendicitis, but they still did not release me. At 3 a.m. on July 26, 2003 and under risk of death, I was able to escape and run to freedom.
