Wuxue City Practitioner Xiang Xiuqing Risks Her Own Life to Save Others

(Clearwisdom.net) In April 2004, Xiang Xiuqing, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Wuxue City, Hubei Province came across a car that had flipped over, with fire and smoke pouring from it. Fearing the car might explode at any moment, the passersby had gathered and were just standing a safe distance from it, after having dialed 119 for emergency rescue.

Without hesitation, practitioner Xiang Xiuqing dashed to the car. Unable to pull the door open, she broke the window and pulled out the three young people, one by one. When the police and firefighters arrived, the three occupants had already been pulled to safety.

Three days later, the three young people brought a case of good liquor and cigarettes to thank Ms. Xiang for saving their lives. However, Xiang would not accept the gifts, no matter how hard they tried. Xiang told them, "It was my pleasure to do it. It was my pleasure to do it. You don't need to thank me. You can thank Falun Dafa and my Teacher. Falun Dafa teaches us to be good. Otherwise, I might not have risked my life, or perhaps, we all wouldn't be safe and sound like we are now."
