(Clearwisdom.net) She was a pure and innocent young lady. However, after suffering such cruel torture, young Conghui has been devastated.

Ms. Zhang Conghui, an 18-year-old high school student, was expelled from her school because she told her classmates the facts about Falun Gong. She felt she had no choice but to go to Tiananmen Square to appeal for justice. Ms. Zhang was arrested and later detained at the Piandi Legal School (a brainwashing center) in Shalingzi, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. After two months' torture, she was released on May 13. People who saw her after her release report that she was no longer the Zhang Conghui of the past. From the persecution she suffered, we witness how Jiang and his followers destroy youngsters, and in particular, we note the brutality of their cruel psychological torture.

Zhang Conghui was a sophomore at the No. 1 High School of Xianhua City, Hebei Province. She was expelled from school because someone reported on her when she explained the truth about Falun Gong to her classmates. Someone once asked the principal of the school, "She is only a child. Why did you expel her? She only expressed her personal view." The principal wanted to shirk responsibility and said that he was only following orders from higher authorities. He, however, had to admit that Zhang Conghui performed very well in school. He said Ms. Zhang always picked up garbage and put it in the trash. If she saw bicycles that had fallen down, she would pick them up. Her academic performance was also good.

Her classmates all knew that Zhang Conghui is a good person, and whether at school or at home, she didn't care too much about her personal gains and losses. She was very pure and innocent when she was with her classmates, and she was bright and agile.

Today Zhang Conghui's hands are covered with bruises, she has a dull look, acts oddly, and exhibits mental confusion. Yesterday, she was a pure and innocent young lady. How could this happen?

This is yet another crime that Jiang and his followers have committed, and an example of how they physically and mentally devastate young people. They not only deprived Ms. Zhang of her right to attend school, her right to speak the truth, and her personal freedom, but they also cruelly tortured her so badly that she ended up in a state of mental collapse.

Someone once asked her about the bruises on her body. Zhang Conghui replied that they were left after she was beaten in the detention center. She said that one time, the blackboard in the brainwashing class had some words on it defaming Teacher, and she erased them with her hands. The police didn't want her to do that, so they tied her up with rope and beat her. Another time, she was not allowed to sleep for three days and nights during which time she lost consciousness several times. Later, she was confined in a solitary cell. The police shocked her with electric batons and also assigned a person to monitor her all the time.

Ms. Zhang was expelled from school merely because she wrote on a piece of paper, "Falun Dafa is good!" She was brainwashed and tortured for over two months and when she was released, Ms. Zhang was like another person altogether. Her family exhausted almost all their financial resources to have their daughter released on bail, and her parents and relatives were devastated when they saw what had happened to her.
