After Returning to Falun Dafa Practice, a Practitioner Who Had Once Been Brainwashed Is Miraculously Cured of Terminal Cancer
(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Zhao Xiuli was an assistant at a Falun Gong
practice site in the Fulaerji District of Qiqihaer City before the persecution
of Falun Gong began in China. In July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin's regime started its
persecution of Falun Gong, so Ms. Zhao and ten other local practitioners went to
Beijing's Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Dafa. She was arrested and
unlawfully sentenced to forced labor at Qiqihaer City's Shuanghe Labor Camp.
There, Ms. Zhao was forcibly brainwashed, and she abandoned Falun Gong
cultivation practice. Gradually, her previous heart illness recurred and bothered her continually.
At that time, her former fellow practitioners found her and tried to persuade
her to return to practicing Falun Gong. They told her that only our merciful
Teacher could save her. But somehow, Ms. Zhao could not understand and would not
heed their advice. In early 2003, she could not move her upper body freely. She
went to the hospital, had some tests done and was diagnosed with breast cancer.
Ms. Zhao then spent a few months at the hospital and had several treatments.
Although she spent a lot of money on medical care, her illness worsened to the
point where she could not get out of bed. The hospital's diagnosis was end-stage
cancer. Because treatment could no longer help, the hospital stopped giving her
any medical services. At that moment, Ms. Zhao remembered the advice from her
former fellow practitioners with regret; she believed it might be too late for
her to start practicing again. In fact, the fellow practitioners had never stopped caring about her. When
they found out about her latest situation, they rushed to the hospital. Four
practitioners asked her to cooperate and send forth righteous thoughts with
them. Afterwards, her illness was miraculously greatly reduced. Ms. Zhao
realized that only Falun Dafa could save her. Since then, Ms. Zhao has continued
to study the teachings of Falun Dafa and has kept sending forth righteous
thoughts with her fellow practitioners. After a few days, her breast festered
and discharged a great deal of dark blood. The cancer symptoms disappeared, and
she could get out of bed and move around. Several days later, Ms. Zhao fully
recovered and she was released from the hospital. Her husband originally did not
believe in Falun Dafa, but after witnessing his wife being pronounced as
hopeless by the hospital staff and then fully recovering, he changed his mind.
Dafa saved her life, and he now completely believes in the wonder of Falun Dafa.
