Ms. Yang Jinying Dies from Torture Suffered in Police Custody - Bozhou City, Anhui Province

(Clearwisdom.net) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Yang Jinying was abducted in April 2002. She was tortured until she was completely paralyzed and incontinent. She passed away several days after she was released.

Ms. Yang Jinying, 53 years old, lived in Zhouzhuang, Guantang Town, Qiaocheng District, Bozhou City, Anhui Province. She was kind to everyone. One day in April 2002, perpetrators from the "610 Office" and from the Guantang Police Station broke into her home. They ransacked her home and took her to the police station, where they hurled insults at her, tortured and tried to force her to reveal information about other practitioners.

She refused to cooperate, and perpetrator Xu Nailang and Wang Jiushan instigated Yuan Lai to hang her up (with her feet touching ground) with handcuffs and beat her for twenty-four hours, leaving her body injured.

They held her for 20 months, during which time the perpetrators tortured her and tried to force her to give up her practice of Falun Dafa. She became paralyzed and incontinent from the torture, and could not take any food. As she was on the brink of death, the perpetrators sentenced her to three years in prison and told her son to sign a document for medical parole. She was sent to the Hengkang Hospital in Bozhou City. The next day, the hospital issued a "critical notice." Several days later, Yang Jinying passed away.

Several days after the police had abducted Yang Jinying, they took away her husband and tortured him. He could not stand the torture and signed a document. The police released him so he could harvest the crops in the field. After the harvest was over, the police again tried to arrest him and he was compelled to leave home. Only their two sons are left home, having to take care of themselves.
