Breaking Through My Self-Imposed Limits By Writing One Letter a Day
A Chinese practitioner in the U.S.
(Clearwisdom.net) Since I had many other things to do, I had not sent
letters to clarify the truth to people in Mainland China for quite some time. I
also felt that this kind of activity should be carried out by elderly
practitioners who have more spare time. I then realized that this line of
thinking is not righteous. If one letter can save one person, why wouldn't I be
willing to extend a helping hand? Couldn't I squeeze in some time for writing
just one letter? Nothing but my own thoughts prevented me. No matter how busy I
am, I should be able to find time to write just one letter each day. So, like
the saying goes, "A thousand mile march is started from the first
step." I have persisted in writing one letter per day ever since. As a result of writing a letter each day, I broke my own mental block.
Furthermore, I began writing longer letters. I realized that many things that
need to be done are not difficult at all. It is the mind that leads us to think
things are hard. Once we break our mental blocks, a whole new world will appear
in front of us.
