Philadelphia, U.S.A.: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in "Peace on the Street" Community Event (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On June 26, 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in the greater Philadelphia area, invited by the Bible Believing No-Denominational Church of the Northern Philadelphia area, participated in the "Peace on the Street" community event. Practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises, waist drum, fan dance, and lion dance. Practitioners' performances won warm applause from the spectators. The lion dance by young practitioners was their first-ever in public, and their skillful performance was highly praised by the audience.

Before each performance, practitioners gave a brief introduction to the program's theme. From the beauty of Falun Dafa, the brutality of the persecution, to practitioners' peaceful appeals, practitioners elaborated the truth of Falun Dafa from different aspects. After the performance, practitioners taught the exercises at the site and many visitors learned Falun Gong with great interest.
