Colorado: Falun Gong Practitioners Rally in Front of Denver City Hall to Condemn the Jiang Regime's Terrorist Act of Hiring Thugs to Shoot at Falun Gong Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 7, 2004, Colorado Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in front of Denver City Hall to condemn the Jiang regime's terrorist act of hiring gunmen to shoot at practitioners, and to expose the regime's state-run terrorism to the U.S. government and to the citizens of Denver.

The press conference started at 11 a.m., and many Colorado practitioners came to support the event. During the conference, practitioners enumerated the evidence suggesting that the political gang of Jiang Zemin and Zeng had hired gunmen to shoot at practitioners. Dr. Xiaowei Xia shared his unpleasant experience in Germany: Because of the Jiang regime's pressure on the German government, due to mutual commercial interests, the German police mistreated him and many other Falun Gong practitioners during Jiang's visit to Germany in April 2002. Dr. Xia said that the incident was the result of the exportation of Jiang's state-run terrorism and it harmed both the German government and German citizens. He informed the public that the recent shooting incident has clearly revealed the criminal nature of Jiang's regime, and he called on the U.S. government and all kind-hearted people to condemn this terrorist act and to include the Jiang regime on list of terrorists to be dealt with in the global war against terrorism.

In her speech, a representative of Friends of Falun Gong, UCD (University of Colorado at Denver) Chapter, strongly condemned the terrorist act of the Jiang regime's hiring of gunmen to shoot practitioners. She said that evidence shows that this shooting was another terrorist act committed by the Jiang regime, and Friends of Falun Gong requested that the South African government investigate this incident promptly and publicize the truth.

Practitioners displayed banners with the words, "Strongly Condemn the Jiang Regime's Terrorist Act of Hiring Assassins to Kill Falun Gong Practitioners" and "Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice," and they also distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials to passers-by. Later, practitioners visited the offices of the Colorado Governor and the Mayor of Denver and delivered truth-clarifying packages concerning the South African shooting incident. Practitioners have drafted an open letter condemning the Jiang regime's terrorist act of hiring gunmen to shoot at practitioners, and the letter will be delivered to more Colorado government officials at all levels.
