San Diego: Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in the Oceanside Independence Day Parade (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 3, Falun Gong practitioners took part for the first time in the Independence Day Parade in Oceanside, a city north of San Diego.

Float and Fan Dance

The Falun Gong practitioners' procession included a huge banner with the words, "Falun Dafa," a decorated float, a Fan Dance performance and a waist drum troupe. During the parade, practitioners on the float continuously demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and displayed the beauty and peacefulness of Dafa to the spectators. The Fan Dance team and the waist drum troupe also spared no effort in their performance. Wherever they passed by, spectators' applause could be heard. Along the parade route, practitioners were busy distributing Falun Dafa introductory literature to the spectators. People were happy to receive them.
