Indianapolis, Indiana: Anti-Torture Exhibition Exposes the Atrocities of Jiang's Regime to Indiana State Government Officials, Staff and Local People (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) From June 27 to July 1, 2004, Falun Gong
practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition at the Indiana State Capitol in
Indianapolis, which was the second stop in the series of exhibitions in the
state of Indiana. The 5-day exhibition drew the attention of government
officials and staff, as well as visitors. They had the opportunity to look at
photos that revealed Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong
practitioners in China. The torture method demonstration by the practitioners
was so vivid that it was suggested that we cancel it. Though a little
interference, it indicates that the brutal persecution is beyond general
people's tolerance.
Anti-torture exhibition in the

The following are some stories that occurred during the exhibition. There was a security guard in the capitol building, whom the
practitioners explained the facts to. He said he knew Falun Gong
practitioners and US citizen Charles Li were imprisoned in China, but he
did not know so many practitioners were persecuted and the persecution was
so cruel. During the following days, he greeted the practitioners kindly
and often came to look at the poster boards. He even told the
practitioners which day government officials would come to the capitol and
which day there were more people working in the building. He highly
praised the practitioners' exercise demonstration and condemned the Jiang
regime's persecution of peaceful practitioners. A gentleman from Europe doing short-term work in Indiana entered the
capitol and viewed the anti-torture exhibition. The practitioners
explained the facts of Falun Gong and the brutal persecution of Falun Gong
practitioners in China. He requested more information and asked the
practitioners to teach him the five sets of exercises. Upon trying them,
he said he felt great. A local Chinese person brought another family to visit the capitol and
the family had just come to the U.S. from China. He intentionally came
forward to look at the poster boards. He told us that he asked his guests
to take a look at the popularity of Falun Gong outside of China. He could
not understand why Jiang's regime persecutes such kind-hearted people. He
stressed again and again that Chinese people should have some belief. During the five-day exhibition, there were many moving stories. When
practitioners gave exercise demos, many people stopped to watch. People
who had been talking loudly became quiet upon seeing the serene practice.
As more people come to know the greatness of Falun Dafa, Jiang and his
followers will be closer to being brought to justice for their crimes in
the persecution of Falun Gong.
