(Clearwisdom.net) On July 5, Southern California Falun Gong practitioners
participated in an Independence Day parade held in Hacienda Heights, CA, a town on the east of Los Angeles,
and won the highest award of the parade. This community has many Chinese. Though
there weren't many Chinese groups participating in the parade, there were many
Chinese spectators along both sides of the parade route. Many of them
enthusiastically waved their hands toward practitioners and applauded to welcome
practitioners' procession. After the parade, practitioners performed dances and
demonstrated the exercises on a stage in the park where the parade concluded.
