Dafa Practitioners in Tangshan City's Kaiping Labor Camp on Hunger Strike and in Critical Condition


(Clearwisdom.net) Many Dafa practitioners in Tangshan City's Kaiping Labor Camp, Hebei Province went on a hunger strike to protest against the persecution. Mr. Yang Jianpo from Langfang City has been on a hunger strike for more than 100 days and is in critical condition. Mr. Zheng Huiwang from Bazhou City has been on hunger strike for 5 to 6 months, and he is currently handcuffed to a bed in a hospital, being force-fed and subjected to forced infusions. Mr. Zheng is also in critical condition, suffering from being beaten and mentally abused by policemen Xu Zhenmin and Zhang Jianyong. Mr. Li Weimin, former official of Qing County Personnel Bureau in Cangzhou City, has been on a hunger strike for more than 20 days. Mr. Pang Shaoliang from Yongqing County has been on a hunger strike for around 20 days. Mr. Song Jianguo from Sanhe City has been on a hunger strike for a month. Mr. Dou Jianjun from Langfang City has been on a hunger strike for 20 days. Wang Jing from Cangzhou City, Nanpi County, went on a hunger strike for three days to protest the persecution.

Dafa practitioner Mr. Han Zhenju from Yongqing County died as a result of persecution on May 15, 2004 at Tangshan City's Kaiping Labor Camp. Currently Yang Jianpo and Zheng Huiwang are also in critical condition. We hereby urgently call for kind-hearted people to pay attention to the situation and help us stop the illegal persecution in Kaiping Labor Camp in order to avoid unrecoverable losses again.
