Personal Account of the Inhuman Tortures in Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp (Clearwisdom.net) I was sent to Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp after 2000 for
persisting in my practice of Falun Gong. On the first day I arrived at the No.
3 Division, the head of the division organized certain people to "help and
educate" me. They were former practitioners and had been brainwashed under
fiendish persecution. These collaborators tried to get me to accept their
ridiculous logic and give up my belief in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance."
When they failed, additional people from other divisions were assigned to "help
me." When they all failed, they began to torture me, depriving me of sleep,
forcing me to stand straight for long periods of time, forcing me to squat
military style, scolding me, forcing me to do heavy labor and shocking me with
electric batons.
To poison students' minds in middle schools and elementary schools, the
Education Department printed many books that slander Dafa and Master.
Practitioners were forced to bind these books in forced labor conditions.
Several practitioners firmly resisted. They were forced to stand or squat
outside for long periods of time, even in the rain, and were bitten by
countless mosquitoes. During the hottest days they were forced to cut grass,
remove garbage, or stand still outside; once they were brought inside, they
would be forced to sit in front of the air conditioner and have the cold air
blowing directly on them in order to make their bodies suffer the drastic
temperature change. Division head Yin Kuansong often had meetings with
non-practitioner inmates, to teach them and assign them tasks to persecute
practitioners. He often discussed with those whom they thought to be thoroughly
"brainwashed" about brainwashing tactics and methods. He personally urged
inmates to persecute practitioners.
Practitioner Sun Zhigang from Beijing persisted in his belief and was forced
to sit in the hallway for long periods of time with no walking, no standing and
no talking to anyone. He was often not allowed to sleep for 24 hours straight.
Sometimes a prison guard would pour cold water down his neck when he was about
to fall asleep, soaking his cotton-padded clothes and underclothes. Yin
Kuansong instructed the team leaders Zheng Gang, Wu Deming and others to watch
him closely. Sometimes when they saw that he had fallen asleep, they would open
the door so the cold air would wake him up. Sun Zhigang was forced to sit in
the hallway and was continuously abused for over half a year.
Practitioner Li Qiaosong from Guangzhou City refused to write the "guarantee
statement" (1) The guards incited prisoners to brutally beat him for a long
time and then, to cover up the truth, claimed he had a heart attack. Because
Practitioner Qian Shiguang from Gansu Province called out "Falun Dafa is good"
on the sports field, Yin Kuansong compelled the "personal cangues" (2) to
sadistically kick him and handcuff him. He was forced to stand straight and
also at half-squat for a long time. He was pushed under the bed and was not
allowed to get out for a long period of time. Trapped under the bed with no
water and no restroom, in time he was covered with excrement and urine. This
60-year-old man was tortured so much that he became a mere skeleton. During the
SARS period, practitioner Liu Quanwang from Jinzhou City said something to
advise people to be kind, which was exaggerated and reported to Yin Kuansong. A
class meeting was held immediately and Liu Quanwang was criticized, berated and
savagely beaten. He was punished by having to stand straight for a long period
of over two months. The "personal cangues" were assigned to monitor him. He was
not allowed to go to the restroom for long periods of time, not given enough
food and often suffered beatings. The police used the same methods to persecute
other practitioners, including Wei Shutan, Liu Wei, Xiao Yanming and Liu
Jiansheng.
After SARS, Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp set up the No.1 Division that was
formerly called "fortification team." Yan Xiaoxin (female) was the head of the
division and the deputy heads were Liu Xincheng, Liu Guoqi and Huang. They
selected "personal cangues" from other divisions and incited them to cruelly
persecute practitioners. In order to cover up their crimes and to deal with
outsiders' investigation, they required every "personal cangue" to be able to
recite the ten prohibition rules. The "personal cangues" were first brainwashed
through propaganda and threats. They were threatened that if they did not do as
they were required, they would not have their term reduced or would even be
returned to the original division to be punished. They were clearly instructed
that if practitioners refused to be "reformed," they could use inhumane torture
methods. If some "personal cangues" were not willing to persecute
practitioners, the guards would retaliate against them by reducing their food
rations, berating, extending their training sessions and increasing their
amount of work in order to force them to participate in the persecution. Some
"personal cangues" who had been brainwashed did many bad things in persecuting
practitioners.
In the name of "standardizing the standing posture," cruel police arranged
"personal cangues" to take turns monitoring practitioners, forbidding them to
sleep or move throughout the night. During the hottest summer days, the doors
and windows were closed tightly and it was so hot and stuffy that one found it
hard to breathe. Practitioners' clothes were soaked with sweat and were covered
with thick layers of sweat stains.
The four heads of the division ordered the team leaders to separate
practitioners from each other and isolate them. The doors and windows were
closed and the windows were covered with paper with only one observation hole
that was used to view the inside from outside to see how "personal cangues"
tortured practitioners. If the "personal cangues" did not do what they were
instructed, they would be called out and be scolded or threatened, and were
forced to do things against their will.
Because practitioners were forced to sit for long periods of times, many of
them developed ulcerous boils on their buttocks. Even in such a condition, they
were still forced to sit still and if they moved a little bit, they would be
beaten or harshly scolded. Practitioner Liu Quanwang from Jinzhou City was
threatened and scolded many times. He suffered brutal beatings for a whole
night and was not allowed to sleep. Yan Xiaoxin incited the "personal cangues"
to beat him with wooden poles. After the wooden poles broke, they used the
broken poles to poke him. They often stabbed him with sharp pencils. During the
winter days, they would open the door and window and poured water on him, and
then turned on the fan to blow cold air on him (several "personal cangues" fell
ill due to the cold). They even urinated on him. Because of sitting for a long
time without moving, Liu Quanwang developed large ulcerous boils on his
buttocks. Team leader Zhao ordered the "personal cangues" to apply liquid
medicine to the boils to irritate the sores and cause more pain. He told them
privately to poke at the scars deeply with a stick. Seeing the extreme pain Liu
Quanwang suffered, the police praised the "personal cangues" with a big
thumbs-up. Liu Quanwang was not allowed to go to restroom for a long period of
time and had to relieve himself in his clothing.
In the labor camp, those who persisted in practicing Falun Gong were put in
C-level supervision, where, according to the regulations, they should be given
two steamed corn buns per meal. Nevertheless, they were given only one steamed
corn bun per meal. The guards would dry the steamed buns to make them too hard
to bite. Later, practitioners were given only half of a bun per meal and
finally they were given nothing but a little bit of vegetable broth. The guards
would conduct force-feeding on practitioners that were on hunger strike and
demanded 80 Yuan (3) for each force-feeding. The division would be awarded with
a large bonus for each practitioner they "reformed." I heard this with my own
ears when a patrol team leader was congratulating Yan Xiaoxin for having
received a large bonus.
Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp follows Jiang's regime's orders closely and
implements the evil policy of "Destroy their reputation; ruin them financially;
eliminate them physically." They still continue to inhumanly torture and
persecute Falun Gong practitioners.
I call on all people with a conscience and righteousness in China and around
the world to take actions to expose and stop the persecution of
"Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance" in China and to stop the persecution of
kind-hearted cultivators.

to practice Falun Gong, not to go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong, and not
to distribute information about Falun Gong.
