Practitioners Released after Being Tortured to the Verge of Death and Abducted Again after Barely Recovering

(Clearwisdom.net) Jiang Zemin persecutes Falun Gong practitioners with the heinous policy of "defaming their reputation, bankrupting them financially, and destroying them physically." At this point in time at least ten practitioners have been tortured to death in the Huludao area.

''In October of 1999, Huludao City practitioner Yang Hong was sentenced to 3 years of forced labor for practicing Falun Gong. She first suffered one year of torture in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. While she was imprisoned, her daughter was expelled from the Jinzhou Normal College for not giving up Falun Gong. The prolonged heavy pressure from the persecution and the constant anxiety caused her husband and elderly father to contract acute diseases and they both passed away. When Yang Hong was released and sent back home, her original four-member-family was only left with the mother and daughter. Yang Hong and her daughter had to leave home because of the constant harassment from the Huludao City "610 Office"(1), the Lianshan District "610 Office," the National Security Team, the Shiyou Police Station, and the Shiyou Street Resident Committee.

Two and a half years later, on April 1, 2004, Ms. Yang Hong and her 24-year-old daughter were abducted again. After two months of torture in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Yang Hong showed severe symptoms of her heart muscle lacking blood, a high heart rate, and kidney function failure. On June 8, she was sent back to the Huludao Detention Center. On June 9, because of her poor health situation, she was released on the condition that she would wait for interrogation. At that time, her weight was only around 35 Kg (77 lbs.).

Though Ms. Yang Hong's health has not recovered, the perpetrators arranged detailed plans to further persecute her. The Huludao City Public Security Bureau of the Lianshan District Branch, the Procuratorate Court, and the Xinggong Police Station intended to send her to the Dabei Women's Prison in Shenyang. They have already issued the arrest warrant.

The perpetrators in the Huludao district torture good people like Yang Hong to the verge of death, and then release them to their homes, in order to avoid responsibility for torture and murder. When the victims have barely recovered the perpetrators come back and abduct them again. There are many such cases of this happening.

Practitioner Hu Baochun from Yangzhangzi in Huludao City has been abducted and tortured many times. He is not released until he is tortured to the verge of death. The police from Yangzhangzi Police Station still harass him. Hu Baochun had to leave his home to avoid further persecution. On April 1, 2004, the police abducted him again and sent him to Huludao Forced Labor Camp.

Practitioner Liang Guoman from Qiuzigou town of Suizhong County has been persecuted so severely that he has been on the verge of death three times. When he begins to recover, the police come back and abduct him from his home. When he returns home from detainment, he only stays for a short while in his home before he is abducted again. He is always in poor health due to the torture suffered under police custody. The last time he was sent back to his home he only had one last breath. The police still came to his home in less than one week, attempting to abduct him again.

On April 2, 2004, practitioner Fan Dezhen from Gangtun was abducted. After twenty days of a hunger strike, the Huludao Detention Center force-fed him, causing a lung infection and he nearly died as a result. Several days after he was released, the local police came to his home to check on him.

In August of 2003, the Huludao area practitioner Yang Hongxia was abducted and tortured to the verge of death. Several days later, when the police heard that she was still alive, they came to Yang Hongxia's home to abduct her again, leaving her 10-year-old daughter alone in the home. Yang Hongxia's husband was forced to leave home to avoid the persecution long ago. Yang Hongxia is currently detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.

Suizhong county practitioners Dong Guixia, Wang Chengde, and Ma Suyuan were severely tortured and seriously wounded. Shortly after they were sent back home due to their poor health, the police went to their home to "check on them."
