(Clearwisdom.net) The suppression of Falun Dafa in China has lasted for
nearly five years. In order to allow more people to learn about the truth and
to stop the persecution as soon as possible, Falun Gong practitioners in Korea
held a series of activities to clarify the truth. On July 10, 2004, in Jongmyo
Park, practitioners in the Seoul area held activities including memorial
ceremony to mourn for fellow practitioners who have died from the persecution,
an anti-torture exhibit, a symbolic trial of the chief perpetrator Jiang Zemin
and group practice.

Jongmyo is the oldest Royal shrine of the 500-year Korean dynasty. Jongmyo
Park is now classified as "world cultural heritage" site. Located at the center
of Seoul, Jongmyo Park is a renowned tourist attraction. On July 10, although
it was hot and humid, there were numerous people who watched the demonstrations
from the beginning to the end.
Two practitioners recited Teacher's poem, "The Knowing Heart" and started
the activities. After a brief introduction to Falun Dafa, practitioners wearing
yellow exercise suits demonstrated the five-set Falun Gong exercises. Then a
practitioner delivered a memorial speech to mourn fellow practitioners who died
from the persecution in China. During the process, spectators attentively
listened and watched. They expressed their concern and worry to practitioners
about the terrorist acts implemented by the Jiang's group.
Then a symbolic trial of Jiang began. At the same time, practitioners held
an exhibit of ten torture methods used against practitioners. Many spectators
shed tears and expressed their deep indignation toward the brutal suppression.
Practitioners by the side also had their faces wet with tears.
People watched and almost none left during the demonstration. After the
trial, practitioners once again described the five sets of exercises in detail.
Many spectators followed practitioners and learned the movements. Some
practitioners walked in the crowds and individually instructed the spectators.
In the end, practitioners loudly read in Chinese and Korean some poems from
"Hong Yin" (Teacher's collection of poems) to conclude the activities.
The major part of the series of activities to clarify the truth on the fifth
anniversary of the suppression will be unfolded on July 17 and July 20.
