San Diego Falun Gong Practitioners Take Part in Independence Day Parades and Win Numerous Awards (Photos)
By practitioners from San Diego
(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 4, 2004, Falun Gong
practitioners from San Diego participated in the Scripps Ranch Independence Day
parade. On that day, because our waist drum troupe went to Los Angeles to join
the 100th annual Fourth of July Parade held in Huntington Beach, our
procession consisted of only a huge banner with the words, "Falun Dafa," a
decorated float and a fan dance performance. Although we had much fewer people than before, our practitioners' procession
was still bright and beautiful. Practitioners displayed the peacefulness and
beauty of Dafa with their pure hearts, winning constant applause along the
route. Several days later after the parade, we were very happy to learn that
the judges issued us the "most creative" award. During the Fourth of July
holiday, San Diego Falun Gong practitioners participated in four parades in
three days and won three awards.
