More Than 50 Falun Dafa Practitioners Shackled and Hung Up by their Handcuffs at Dujun Prison, Guizhou Province

(Clearwisdom.net) At Dujun Prison in Guizhou Province, the authorities posted articles defaming Falun Dafa and Teacher. On May 20, 2004, a practitioner took them down, and immediately the police went on a rampage to punish practitioners: more than fifty practitioners were handcuffed and hung up by their shackles.

One of the male practitioners jailed at Dujun Prison is Yi Siheng, 36 years old, a university graduate from Chongqing City. He is on a hunger strike and is extremely weak and in danger of dying. Staff members at the prison do not seem to care about his life.

Ever since Mr. Yi was taken into custody in early 2002, he has been subjected to all kinds of tortures. He was tied to the "Dead Person's Bed" (1) for more than 20 days. He was locked up in a small cell and handcuffed there. The persecutors covered all the windows with paper, and they put two huge loudspeakers beside Mr. Yi's ears, forcing him to listen to material defaming Falun Dafa and the Teacher for three days and nights. To protest the persecution, Yi Siheng has gone on hunger strikes many times. Each time he has done this, he has been brutally force-fed.

(1) "Dead Person's Bed" -- A torture method; the four limbs of the practitioner are stretched out and tied to the four corners of an icy-cold metal bed. The practitioner cannot move at all. Neither is he allowed to get up to eat, drink or go to the bathroom. This torture can last from several hours to more than a dozen days. This type of cruel torture causes severe damage to the practitioner, both mentally and physically.
