Taiwan: Report on the Signature Campaign to Expose and Condemn the Jiang Regime's Terrorist Act of Hiring Thugs to Shoot Practitioners (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Several Australian Falun Gong practitioners recently went to South Africa to sue the visiting Chinese Vice President Zeng Qinghong for his role in the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. However, the practitioners were attacked by hired gunmen and one of the practitioners was severely injured in both feet, resulting in shattered bones. Evidence suggests that Zeng is highly suspected of directing the shooting attack, and this terrorist act perpetrated by the Jiang regime has shocked the world.

To stop the exportation of the Jiang regime's state terrorism overseas, to let more people know the criminal nature of the regime, and to safeguard justice and human conscience, practitioners in Taipei organized several truth-clarification activities. On the afternoon of July 11, 2004, Taipei Falun Gong practitioners went to several busy areas, including the Banqiao bus station and railway station, to collect signatures and to let more people know of the shooting incident. They also fully exposed the Jiang regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

From a photo display, many people saw how severely David Liang was injured and they were shocked at the atrocity. After hearing the practitioners' explanation, they immediately signed their names to condemn the Jiang regime's state terrorism. There were also some passers-by who walked past and didn't pay attention to the practitioner's event. Some practitioners politely walked with them to tell them the facts, and some then stopped to listen to the practitioners. After they learned of the Jiang regime's terrorism and the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, they also signed their names in support. In about 2 hours, the banner used to collect signatures was filled with signatures. More and more people have come to understand the criminal nature of Jiang's regime and are joining with practitioners to resist the persecution.
