Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Independence Day Parade in Winslow, Maine (Photos)


(Clearwisdom.net) On Sunday July 4, Falun Gong practitioners from Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts participated in the Independence Day Parade in Winslow, Maine.

With the joint effort of New England area practitioners, they had a successful parade. Though the temperature was hot, there were still thousands of spectators along the streets.

When the Falun Gong procession passed, the spectators applauded and accepted our flyers. This year, our float was bigger and more beautiful than before. Falun Gong performed a dance of celestial maidens, waist drum, and exercises demonstration. The practitioners passed out over 1000 flyers along the streets, including the copy of a resolution passed in the House and Senate of Maine that supported Falun Dafa and condemned the Jiang group's persecution of Falun Gong.
