San Diego, California: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in Imperial Beach Parade and Win Highest Award (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) On July 10, 2004, San Diego Falun Gong practitioners participated in the 24th Annual Sandcastle Parade in Imperial Beach. This is the practitioners' first participation in this community celebration. During the parade, practitioners displayed Falun Dafa banners, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, and performed waist drum and dance programs. The practitioners' performance impressed everyone present.

Many spectators cheered at the practitioners' beautiful performance and requested Falun Gong materials and asked for more information about Falun Gong. The practitioners who were distributing fliers were hardly able to keep up with all the requests.

At the end of the parade, the practitioner's float was recognized with the highest award of this parade.
