Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners in Chilung Collect Signatures to Strongly Protest the Shooting in South Africa (Photos) By A Falun Gong Practitioner in Chilung
(Clearwisdom.net) To support Falun Gong practitioners from Australia who
were attacked by a gunman in South Africa on June 28, 2004 and condemn the
Jiang group's exportation of state terrorism, Falun Gong practitioners in
Chilung conducted a petition drive. They collected signatures at a bus station
from 4:30 pm to 7:00 pm and at a renowned scenic site on Saturday morning. Many

showing Jiang's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and signed their
names to condemn the atrocities. The bus station is located downtown and is
near the train station, so there were crowds of passengers, and even more after
4:30 pm. Many people read our flyers after accepting them. Upon hearing about
the shooting incident in South Africa and the Jiang faction's extension of
state terrorism overseas, many people signed their names to support Falun Gong. Two people who could neither speak nor hear stopped by our booth for quite a
while and signed after reading the truth-clarification literature. A gentleman
who conducted business in mainland and knew very well about the persecution
talked with practitioners and signed right away. He said he signed to safeguard
basic human rights. Chilung practitioners has conducted many petition drives to protest the
Jiang group's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Many citizens have
become clear about the cruel persecution and the escalation of the persecution.
Falun Gong practitioners' righteousness facing the persecution has aroused many
people's conscience. More and more people have come to understand and like
