Ming Pao (Vancouver): Falun Gong Practitioners Demand Investigation of the South Africa Shooting Incident (Photo)


(Clearwisdom.net) Ming Pao (a Chinese Newspaper) reported on July 16 thatore than 10 Falun Gong practitioners yesterday rallied on the main campus of Simon Fraser University to support 43-year-old Australian Chinese Falun Gong practitioner David Liang. According to Vancouver Falun Gong practitioner Jialin Wang (photo), David Liang was shot in both feet on June 28 when he went to South Africa to appeal to visiting Chinese officials. During yesterday's press conference, Falun Gong practitioners called David Liang who is now recovering. They expressed worldwide Falun Gong practitioners' support to David and demanded that the South African authorities investigate the shooting incident.
