Taiwan: Practitioners in Hualien Call on the People to Oppose Jiang's State- Terrorism (Photos)

(Clearwisdom.net) Practitioners in Hualien collected signatures in several locations on July 15 and 16, 2004 to condemn the shooting incident in South Africa where gunman attacked Falun Gong practitioners from Australia on June 28. South Africa police listed the shooting as an attempted murder. Jiang's followers are suspected to have hired the assassins. The practitioners called on the world's people to be aware of Jiang and his followers' evil nature and exportation of state terrorism.

Falun Gong practitioners went to Hualien City government to visit the Mayor Cai Qi-Ta. Mayor Cai expressed that he supported Falun Gong activities because Falun Gong is a non-political self-improvement system. He said that he would introduce Falun Gong to his colleagues. Mayor Cai and his wife signed the petition and had a group photo with the practitioners.

A reporter said that he could not understand why the Jiang faction persecuted Falun Gong so brutally and that he had collected related information about the shooting incident in South Africa to report.
